Why was Jesus sleeping? • When He became human like

us, He needed sleep, food …• To teach His disciples to trust in

GodDid He know about the storm? • Yes, His divine nature never sleeps, He knows

about everything at all timesWhy did He wait until His disciples call for help? • To test their faith, to teach them to trust in God

of all, He controls everything including nature

What does the STORM symbolize? • Sin/evil• Struggles/difficulties in lifeWhat are the storms in your life? • Struggles with lying, disobedience, hate, etc.
