Disability Design Reference Group An important customer initiative to ensure that accessibility for passengers is fully embedded in the entire delivery process.

• Extension of Metrolink design team – now becoming involved in all TfGM public transport projects
• Helps Metrolink develop accessible, barrier-free designs which comply with (and often exceed) legislation and best practice guidance standards

Over 400 events across the network per year, including:
• 38 domestic fixtures / over 30 cup matches depending on team progression;
• Festivals;
• Concerts;
• Cricket, including international fixtures; and
• Mass Participation Events (Road running races / Cycling.)
All requiring a Multi – Modal Response, enhanced by our Travel Safe Unit
