Research Contexto Most studies on the impacts of climate
change tend to focus on scenarios of future
climate (2050-2100) at the large scale.
o Local factors (e.g. slope, exposure, type of
soil, distance from the sea, etc.).
o Global climate models are still of
insufficient resolution to account for the local
scale spatial variability of the climate.
