    St. Paul's Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive St. Paul will be participating once again in the food drive for those in need inside and outside of our church. Please consider donating non-perishable food items and essential living items the first three weekends of November. The drop off point will be at the table in the Narthex by the kitchen window. If you would like to make a monetary donation instead, please mark your donation "Food Drive" and turn it in with your offering or in to the church office. We are also taking referrals of families to receive food boxes. Referral Forms are at the Welcome Center and will be kept confiden-tial. Volunteers are also needed to be a Priscos and Montgomery Market to collect food. Sign up sheets are also at the Welcome Center. Look at the display cases for detailed information.     Senior Min istry

    Take a break and Breathe Again! Do you care for a senior family member or friend. Do you know someone who could use could benefit from a free couple hours to breathe again? Please let your friends and neighbors know that Saint Paul (85 S. Constitution, Aurora IL) now supports senior caregivers one Saturday a month. Simply call to complete set up an intake meeting, then bring your sen-ior-aged family member for a day out with us. You choose the days and times that fit your schedule. We will provide a safe, friendly place with trained staff and volunteers who support your visit with optional games, activities, devotions, crafts, songs and fun surprises. You get support for a couple hours to enjoy a much deserved break, to take care of busi-ness, or simply breathe again. Participants bring their own lunch and snack, and pay $25 for each Saturday’s visit. Call today, to RSVP for a break. Spaces are limited.     Children’s Ministry

    POWERHOUSE Sunday S’cool! These classes are each Sunday from 9:30-10:30 am at the Modular building.     REFORMATION PARTY 9:30-10:30AM Join in the fun, learning about the reformation. Kids rotate from classroom to classroom with their friends to discover and the learn history of what Martin Luther did for the church.

    Nursery Every Sunday Morning from 8 am to 12 pm. Babies and toddlers 0-3 years are invited to play in the church nursery while parents worship or attend classes. The nursery staff are paid, trained and background checked to provide families with a safe and secure alternative each Sunday.

    Light Up the World will be returning on January 4th

    of 2015. Planning has already begun, but if you want to be part of the team, please contact Andrew Tutwiler.

    Youth Ministry will be collecting goods for College Care packages during the month of October. These care packages will be shipped out in November so all donations must be acquired by the end of October. We will be looking for donations that include: School supplies, toiletries, not perishable food, gift cards etc. Please turn in all donations to the church office.

    Now Hiring!!! Are you looking for extra hours? Do you like to work with children? Why not consider working with Saint Paul’s Powerhouse teams? We are presently hiring at Saint Paul for trustworthy, energetic, responsible adults and youth 16 years+ to work with our children’s camps, respite days and Sunday morning nursery teams. The dates for camps and respite days are:

    November Break Camp Thursday 6 November 12 - 6PM Friday 7 November 7AM - 6PM Saturday 8 November 10AM – 4PM (Family Respite Day) Monday 24 November 7AM – 6PM Tuesday 25 November 7AM – 6PM Wednesday 26 November 7AM – 6PM

    Christmas Camp Friday 19 December 12 - 6PM Saturday 20 December 8AM – 4PM (Family Respite Day) Monday 22 December 7AM – 6PM Tuesday 23 December 7AM – 6PM

    Our Sunday morning nursery is looking for energetic, positive staff to help with children 0-3 years old as their parents attend worship or education opportunities on Sunday mornings. The staff is paid and work 2 hour shifts when the nursery is open (8am-12noon) once or twice a month. Applicants must be over 18 years old, are background checked and receive periodic training.
