Bumi Armada is a Malaysia-based
international offshore energy
facilities and services provider with a
presence in over 17 countries
spread across five continents,
supported by over 2,000 people from
over 35 nationalities.
We provide offshore services via two
business units – Floating Production
and Operations (oil and gas
solutions) and Offshore Marine
Services (OMS) which comprises of
Offshore Support Vessels (OSV) and
the Subsea Construction (SC)
services.
Statistics show that we are the fifth
largest FPSO player in the world and
an established OSV owner and
operator, with extensive experience
across Asia, Europe, Africa and Latin

At Bumi Armada, you have the choice of
going down a technical line or be in a
functional role.
Both, we can assure you will allow for
different experiences as you will move
through various projects with continuous
learnings through training courses and
workshops.
We have laid out how your 2 year
programme works, but your journey may
differ according to your development
plans.
• Job Placement / Rotations – On-the-Job experience is one of the best ways to develop skills. By contributing
towards a number of diverse roles during the program, graduates will be exposed towards multiple learning
opportunities. Rotations are implemented every 8 months.
• Training, Mentoring & Feedback - At every job placement / rotation, the GDP supports learning with formal
training opportunities, mentoring and feedback sessions.
• Progress Check - A progress check every 4 months ensures the graduate’s development is on track and they
remain engaged in the role.
• 8th Month Appraisals –At the start of each rotation, specific objectives will be assigned and will be evaluated at
the end of the 8th month GDP rotation.
Graduate Learning Path
For us, learning is based on the understanding that the best
combination for learning to be most effective is in the ratio 70/20/10:
• 70% of learning comes from on-the-job experiences
• 20% comes from people (particularly a role model or mentor)
• 10% comes from formal courses and reading
