Departing Brisbane 23 March, 2019 we are off on our Experience of Norfolk Island. Spending 7 nights in comfortable quality accommodation with your own private room and most meals included.
We commence this tour with a wonderful Welcome dinner followed by a Sound and Light Show! Sit back in the comfort of the bus, whilst Norfolk Island’s convict era is brought to life.Take time to explore the local markets, the historic Kingston and the famous
convict buildings and beautiful beaches. So don’t forget your camera because this picture perfect Island has so much to offer.
The experiences continue with a visit out to Fletchers Mutiny Cyclorama, a continuous 360degree panoramic painting, a stroll through Queen Victoria’s Garden, funfilled evening at the Night with the Mutineers, Meeting Fletcher Christian’s direct descendants
for sumptuous food, sea shanties, sing-a-longs, great Island music and plenty of mutinous tales.
Let us take you to Kingston, for the Convict Settlement Tour, an in depth tour of the historic Georgian settlement of Kingston, before we spend the evening on a Progressive Dinner to Island Homes.
And the highlights continue with a leisurely Breakfast Bushwalk through the National Park, a night out on the Wonderland by Night Tour that’s set in 10 acres of magical Norfolk pines & bushland lit up like an enchanted forest, hear poetry written by Bounty
mutineer descendant Archie. Go “off the beaten track” on a Island Adventures 4WD Tour to explore some of Norfolk’s valleys, ridges, coastlines and private properties.
Enjoy the stunning cliff top scenery and feast of Island dishes, along with local entertainment and the sunset at the Island Fish Fry.We make our way to the Mutiny on the Bounty Show. The descendants of the mutineers bring to life the famed story in a 1 ½ hour
show in an outdoor amphitheatre on Norfolk’s western coastline. We’ll take a guided tour to the home of world renowned author, the late Colleen McCullough. Afterwards we learn about the milking and cheese making process of a farm, meet the cheeky goats and
top it off with a glass of wine on the Hilli Goat Tour - The Norfolk Whey.
Our last night on Norfolk Island we have a Night as a Convict Dinner. Tonight is sure to be a fun time as we dress* like convicts and join in with the Commandant for an evening of gaiety, feasting, singing & dancing.
