We leave Henley at 8.00am. In the morningwe spend a few hours in historic Chichester where there istime to explore the cathedral, take lunch and take in thelocal area. In the afternoon we continue to Brighton withtime to explore:

The Liverpool ExperienceFRIDAY 25 – SATURDAY 26 JUNE

Once Europe’s ‘Capital of Culture’ Liverpoolis diverse, energetic and exciting. Famous asthe birthplace of The Beatles, the city’sother cultural assets are some of the finestin Europe.

Departing Henley at 8.00am we travel directlyto Liverpool, arriving in the city by 11.00am, in time forcoffee. Things to visit include:

• The Albert Dock, which is a World Heritage Siteand offers an interesting array of waterfrontshops, cafés and museums

• Museums include the Tate Gallery, the MaritimeMuseum and the ‘Beatles Story’ which is a shrineto the legendary pop group

The breathtaking scenery of the LakeDistrict holds a special fascination, with itsbeautiful combination of rugged crags andtranquil lakes. Our break will be centred onthe bustling Lakeland resort and old markettown of Keswick.

Departing Henley at 8.00am and travellingnorth, we arrive in Ambleside in the Lake District at aroundlunchtime. We continue to Keswick, passing through thepretty village of Grasmere. The afternoon is free to explorethis bustling Lakeland resort:

• Admire the exhibits in the Cumberland PencilMuseum

• Treat yourself to afternoon teaEnjoy dinner and an overnight stay in our hotel.

This morning is free to explore Keswick alittle further. It’s market day, so perhaps enjoy theatmosphere and browse the stalls. We commence ourreturn journey in the early afternoon and en route, we makea stop at Trentham Gardens in Staffordshire. We arriveback in Henley by 7.00pm approx.

Situated in Jersey on the southern mostpart of the British Isles, St. Helier is theideal location for a reviving break withspectacular views across the bay and manyattractions to keep you entertained.

We leave Henley at 6.00am and make theshort journey to Birmingham Airport. We arrive in ourdestination after a short flight and are transferred to ourhotel. The rest of the day is free, why not visit one of StHeliers museums or the castle:

• The Maritime Museum• The Occupation Museum – full of military history• Jersey Museum• Elizabeth Castle

Then relax and enjoy dinner in the comfort of our hotel.Today is a free day to discover more of this

In the evening return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.After another free morning we take a scenic

Choose your seat – Choose where you want tosit on the coach and we will confirm this whenyou book your break.

One boarding point with free parking – For aquick start to the beginning and end of yourbreak, there is just one boarding point, here atour premises at Liveridge Hill.

Our car park is safe, secure and well lit and youcan park here for the duration of the break, free ofcharge. DIRECTIONS: Our premises are situatedone mile north of Henley, on the A3400, travellingtowards Birmingham. On arrival, enter via the‘Entrance’ gateway and follow the signs for ‘GreatBreaks Parking’. For passengers being dropped offand collected at the end of the break, there isample space for this.

Travel in comfort – All coaches used on GreatBreaks will be from our top class touring fleet,equipped with air conditioning, reclining seatsand toilet.

No smoking – Enjoy a great atmosphere!Please remember that we operate a no smokingpolicy on all coaches.

Booking conditionsEnquiries – just contact our office at Liveridge Hill,Henley-in-Arden (on the Birmingham Road, A3400north of Henley) or an appointed Travel Agent.

Great Break Bookings – For a provisional booking,a simple telephone call is all that is needed. We willhold places for you without obligation for 7 days(please note; provisional bookings will becancelled automatically if payment is notreceived within 7 days).

Confirmation of Booking – In order to confirmyour booking we require payment in full within7 days. Once received we will send you your GreatBreak confirmation, receipt of payment, the numberand location of seats booked .

Methods of Payment – All normal methods ofpayment, including cash, cheque, by debit andcredit card and by telephone or by post areacceptable. PLEASE MAKE CHEQUES PAYABLE TO:‘JOHNSONS COACH TRAVEL’. Please note there is a2% charge for payments made by credit card.

Reductions – There are no reductions for childrenon Great Breaks.

Cancellation by the Company – Shouldcircumstances arise where, due to less than 20bookings, we are forced to cancel an Great Break,all monies paid by all passengers for that particularbreak will be refunded and following that theCompany shall be exempt from any further liability.

Cancellation by the Passenger – You may cancelyour Great Break at any time and provided that wereceive notice of cancellation within 56 days inwriting (8 weeks) of the departure date, then we willrefund you the value of the break, less a £20cancellation charge and the value of your travelinsurance premium. No refunds can be given for

cancellations made less than 56 days prior todeparture. You may be able to claim back the costof your Great Break (less the insurance premium andthe insurance excesscharge) through yourtravel insurance whichcan be purchased at thetime of booking.

Travel Insurance – is notincluded in the cost ofour Great Breaks, but isavailable from just£13.50 per person.

Alterations –The company reservesthe right to alter orcancel any of the GreatBreaks listed in thisbrochure, and to alter thesize and specification ofthe vehicle used.Seating Plans – For our44 seat Futura pleaseremove row 12 and onour 44 Magiq Seats 5C& 5D are replaced by 7C& 7D.
