PARISH ANNOUNCEMENTS

HOMEBOUND PARISHIONERS Because we are united in the bond of Baptism, the sickness and suffering of one member of the Body of Christ touches all the others as well. No one is meant to suffer alone, without the support of a loving and caring faith community. Please keep our parish staff informed about the sickness or death of family members or neighbors in the parish so that our whole parish community may remember them in prayer and extend to them our pastoral care. It is our desire to show our love and care for our parishioners who, for reasons of health or infirmity, are unable to attend Mass on a regular basis. Saint Agnes’ Clergy and Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist bring Holy Communion, news of parish events, and a listening ear to our parishioners who are homebound. Homebound members of the Parish or their family members can notify the Parish Office to make arrangements to receive Holy Communion. We do not always know when someone is unable to attend Mass and depend upon hearing about those in need of home visits. We are happy to minister to both short- and long-term needs. Homebound parishioners wishing to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) and Anointing of the Sick can contact the Parish Office to arrange for the Priest to visit at any time. If you know of a homebound parishioner who would like to receive visits from our Clergy and Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist please contact Marge Short in the Parish Office at [email protected] or (610) 692-2990 x227.
