John Martin Reservoir SWA and Fort Lyon SWA - Bent County From Las Animas, go 16 miles east on Highway 50 to Hasty, then 2 miles south on County Road 24.
Area Offers:
Hunting: Deer, Rabbit, Squirrel, Pheasant, Bobwhite Quail, Scaled Quail, Dove, Waterfowl. Fishing: Warmwater Recreation: Power Boating, Sail Boating, Sail Surfing, Water skiing, Camping, Hiking, Wildlife Viewing Facilities: Rest Rooms, Boat Ramps
Restrictions:
A. Trotlines and jugs permitted. B. Field trials may be authorized February,
March, August, and September only. C. ATVs and dirt bikes are prohibited. D. Public access is prohibited except to retrieve
downed waterfowl from Nov. 1 through last day of the migratory waterfowl season as posted on US Army Corp of Engineer land un- der lease by the Division of Wildlife or Colo- rado State Parks and Outdoor Recreation to provide for waterfowl resting as necessary de- pending on water levels, weather, and pres- ence of birds.
