This is the Stage. In this area actors recite their dialog for the Play. You can see on this stage there are some Props. Props are what actors use to make they play come alive.

This photo is from the play call The Museum. On stage we see a clothes line, We also see some canvas on the back wall and a bench.

You can’t put on a Play without an audience. In these red folding chairs people sit to watch the play. This is one of the

three sides of seating.

Backstage In the photo we see Carpets and backdrops which can be used for

other shows. There is also a refrigerator for

drinks. The main processor for

stage lighting and sound. The

backstage is also an area for actors

to wait before they come on

The Lighten BoardPlaced above the stage and out of view from the audience. Here we see a

computer and light boards with main nobs. This light board controls which lights turn on and off. How bright or dim the lights will be during the show.

SoundboardPlace above the stage out of view from the audience. This is the soundboard

with all the turn nobs and level adjusters. there is also a light with a violet filter so the operator can see what they are doing in the dark.

Costume ClosetThis is the area where the keep all the clothes that the actors will wear during different performances. You can see suits, Jackets dress pants for men on the right. On the left

you Can see women’s clothing everything from skirts, dresses, blouses and Dress jackets.

Fitting RoomIn this room actors get there measurements taken. They also get there costume inspected. There needs to be an alteration done it happens in this room. After

the show is over costumes get washed and dried.

Dressing RoomHere is the dressing room. Both male and female actors change clothes and put

on makeup in this room. Everyone gets a chair, light and mirror. There is a Tv so you can watch the performance and know when it’s time to head to backstage.

The CastI would say the most important part of any theatre is the cast. This is the cast of play titled the Museum. It’s an ethnically

diverse bunch of people from young to old.
