Born in London 22,january 1572.
He was a poet, satirist, lawyer and priest.
He wrote on religion, sexuality, love and death.
He was a metaphysical poet.

THEME
The poem deals with the theme of love of a lover for his beloved it is an address of a lover to the rising sun.
In which the lover portrays his beloved superior to the Rising sun.

Busy old fool, unruly sun, why dost thou thus……. Nor hours, days ,months, which are the rags of time.
The Lover addresses the sun.
The wants to make season and time.
Personifying sun.Love is not subjected to time.

Stanza 2. Thy beams so reverend, and strong
Why shouldst thou thin?........ And thou shalt hear, "All here in one bed lay.
Challenging the sunTreasures of India Kings Sun would be dazzled.
