LeEco North America is seeking an experienced and self-motivated Software Developer to join our fast

growing Consumer Analytics team. This is not a routine 9-5 programming job, but an opportunity to work

in a unique ecosystem and make significant impact through data. As a part of Consumer Analytics team,

you will have chances to design, develop and support highly customized, cutting-edge applications used

by multiple business units including smart TV, smart phone, streaming video service and even future

electronic cars, etc. We are passionate about Data and providing the right platforms and services to

drive business decisions.

We are looking for the right developer to help us achieve our vision. You will help to drive the next

generation BI platform to support LeEco NA rapidly growing and dynamic businesses, and use it to

deliver the BI applications which will have an immediate influence on day-to-day decision making.

Build next generation of Data automation and reporting systems

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related fields

5+ years of experience as full stack developer who has Proven track record of building value-

adding BI systems from the ground up

3+ years of frontend development experience, preferably using either J2EE or .Net

3+ years of backend development experience, preferably using either SQL or HiveQL

Strong communication (good verbal skills, listening techniques, and a clear, concise writing style)

Strong time management and multitasking skills; can handle multiple responsibilities and projects

with competing priorities and deadline.

Understand importance of building strong relationships and partnering with team members and

multiple business units

Preferred Qualifications:

A strong desire to work in a fast paced dynamic environment

A critical thinker who can find solutions in chaos

Master Degree in Computer Science or related fields

A history of building, delivering, and operating web services and software in data analytics,

experience building Extract, Transform and Load logic, knowledge of how to validate and ensure

data quality

Knowledge of Big Data Solutions. Experience with Hadoop and Hive

Strong analytical thinker who knows how to pick the right tool for the right job

Experiences with multi-national working environments

Lead of Data Engineering – SVat LeEco (View all jobs)

We are looking for an exceptional individual who is passionate about data and the insights that large

amounts of data can provide, who thinks/acts globally, and who has the ability to contribute major new

innovations in the industry to fill the role of a Lead of Data Engineer in LeEco North America. The role

will focus on building a team of data engineers and lay down a scalable data architecture to ingest the

large amounts of data-sets and work with stakeholders to drive business decisions based on this

datasets. The ideal candidate will possess both a data engineering background and a strong business

acumen that enables him/her to think strategically and add value to increase the support business and

the customer experience. He/she will experience a wide range of problem solving situations, strategic to

real-time, requiring extensive use of data collection and analysis.

The successful candidate will work in lock-step with multiple global site leaders, business analysts,

center Big Data team, Product Management, and Finance, in addition to stakeholders in sales,

marketing and service teams to create a coherent customer view. He/she will:

Build up a team of Data Engineers to support LeEco North America business

Develop and improve the current data architecture for LeEco North America.

Drive insights into contacts and customer profiles.

Develop BI systems for LeMall Global for regular and BAU data analysis

Improve upon the data ingestion models, and alarming to maintain data integrity and data

availability.

Keep up to date with advances in big data technologies and run pilots to design the data

architecture to scale with the increased data sets

Partner with BIEs across teams to build and verify hypothesis to improve the LeEco North

America business

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field

8+ years of work experience in using SQL, Hadoop, Hive, etc

Solid experiences of managing an Analytic or Data Engineering team

Experience designing and operating very large Data Warehouses

Strong data modelling skills

Solid programming or scripting language skills (Python, Perl, or Javascript)

Solid communication skills and team player

Solid experience in at least one reporting Tool, preferably Tableau

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in CS, Information Systems or a related field

Capable of investigating, familiarizing and mastering new datasets quickly

Strong organizational and multitasking skills with ability to balance competing priorities.

An ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired and

ambiguity is the norm

An inspiring coach and leader.

Able to simplify and improve inefficient or unnecessarily complex processes.

Able to build positive business relationships and work collaboratively.
