PURPOSE STATEMENT

To shape, refine and execute Mercantile Rental Finance proposition delivery with superior customer (primarily supplier)

experience impact to enable MRF to become the number one rental finance for business.

KEY TASKS & ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. SME rental finance market landscape research for business optimization

• Conduct regular research and investigations to identify local and international trends and understand

competitor offerings, solutions available

2. Business process optimization and prototyping

• Analyse the current end to end processes (account origination, payout, account management, collection and

settlements/ cancellation processes) and reengineer the processes for automation and digitization

3. Align vision and feature team release plan to the MRF business plan objectives and to the Capitec way ofdelivery

• Through engagement with stakeholders, ensure MRF delivery goals are clearly aligned with MRF business

plan objectives

4. Manage and prioritize the MRF backlog

• Coordinate prototyping and translate into user stories for development; compile or assist with compilation of

epics / user stories based on business area / programme / project release plan

5. Product development delivery, process and value

• Review and accept delivered product development increments.

• Project manage the implementation and adoption of features.

• Identify and track benefits in order to maximize business and client value.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum:

o 3 years’ experience working experience in a product, process or project delivery position within a

fast-paced and complex business setting that use Agile delivery in IT

o Experience with product delivery in a software development/digital delivery environment

• Ideal:

o Solutioning, reengineering.

o 5 years’ experience working experience in a product digitization position within a fast-paced and

complex business setting

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Clear criminal and credit record

• Ability and willingness to work in an open plan environment

• Willingness to work or be available overtime and / or weekends if required

• A valid driver's license and own vehicle is preferred

• Willingness to travel nationally if and when required

• Able, willing and has infrastructure to work remotely as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum required qualification is bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Engineering, Mathematics Science or

Technology

• An Honours degree will be an added advantage
