FIRST DAY

Working with the crewI got to work hands on with crew;Laying down conduit.

I got to look inside the office side of the job.

I got to see what really goes on in the background. The planning, problem solving, communication within the job.

Talking with crewAlthough the work experience was truly insightful for working in the real world (specifically in PG&E).

I figured the most important part of the internship was talking to the guys in the crew. {Ernest, Cavan, Alan, Trevor}

1. What their do they do in their particular job.

2. The benefits of working for PG&E.

3. As well as guidance for my pursuit into ‘’’’’engineering.

IMPORTANCE• WORKING IN THE BACKGROUND FOR THE CUSTOMER.

Our crew’s job was to set up the conduit to provide electricity for future residential, commercial buildings and lightning in the area of Morning Drive.But they do usually just work on the gas pipelines.

REFLECTION• STEPPING INTO THE REAL WORLD -Getting a feel for the what work is like within the office or outside, and ‘’’’’’deciding if you could do that in the future. - Understanding communication in the work force through voice or hand ‘’’’’’signals towards other coworkers to get the job done. - Employees really show appreciation for their jobs and employers - The employees provided a lot help in guidance for our future.
