ProductionJob Title DescriptionProducer Creates the conditions of making a film. In charge of coordinating,
supervising, funding, hiring personnel and most importantly arranging a distributor. The producer is involved in all stages of the film
Executive Producer
Takes more of a financial role in the film making process
Production Manager
Supervises the physical aspects of production e.g. Personnel, budget and schedules. To ensure that filming is on schedule.
Line Producer In charge of managing production budget and responsible for lining up resources if needed
Unit Manager Same role as Production Manager
Production Coordinator
Information link of production. Responsible for logistics. E.g. hiring crew, renting equipment, booking talent
Post Production Supervisor
Responsible for post-production process, maintaining communication with other departments e.g. editor, producer…etc.
Production Assistant
They assist in the production office/various departments with general tasks
Screenwriter Screenwriter may pitch to potential producers or write under contract to a producer
Script Supervisor Keeps track of parts of the script that have been filmed and makes notes of changes and keep track of props and other details
Stunt Coordinator If a stunt is incorporated in the film. The stun coordinator will arrange casting and performance of the stunt with the director
Casting Director Chooses the actors for the film

Matte Painter: draw/paint entire sets
Cinematographer Chief camera and lighting crew of film. Makes decisions on shots/lighting with the director

camera in focus when filming as
