Job DescriptionThe Financial Analyst owns the completion of various critical business reports for the Valve Automation business unit to assist the global leadership team in decision making. The Financial Analyst reviews and analyzes the Kind of Business (KOB) process and assists with New Product Development (NPD) projects.

Job Responsibilities

Completes various critical business reports: weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting requirements

Owns the monthly trade working capital analysis, as well as driving improvements Reviews, analyzes, and improves the monthly Kind of Business (KOB) process and loads top level

adjustments to Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) Improves the current world area flow through process to give us better country insight to leadership Creates quarterly product line process to provide management a better understanding of the business Assists New Product Development (NPD) projects with Appropriation Requests and financial analysis Coordinates with world area financial directors to understand financial results and variances Assists in preparing quarterly and yearly presentations to be presented by the business unit President

and CFO Helps with the completion of Emerson corporate financial exhibits and other reporting requirements

Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities Strong analytical and communication skills Strong organizational and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Bondable, must complete successful criminal record check

Preferred Qualifications Experience with Hyperion and Oracle systems preferred
