Chef de Mission NAIG 2020 The Chef de Mission for Team Nova Scotia NAIG 2020 shall provide leadership to the volunteers and the staff that compose Team Nova Scotia NAIG, establish the vision to ensure all work towards a common goal and set a high ethical and cultural standard for all participants. Team Mi’kmaw Nova Scotia for NAIG 2020 Chef de Mission is open to Persons of Interest who meet the following Criteria: Administrative experience with particular knowledge in Sports Management. NAIG experience along with being accustomed to a Team concept. Strong Organizational skills, writing and communication skills. Experience working with Coaches, Provincial Sport Organizations, and other sport professionals. Ability to travel and work week-ends. Experience in making presentations and strong public speaking skills. Abilities to deal with all media, and social media outlets. Be committed to attend and participate in all Chef de Mission Training sessions. Produce and present regular reports for Team Mi’kmaw Nova Scotia. Although Not a requirement, people of Indigenous Ancestry will be considered an asset. ***This position is not a regular Paid staff position although limited stipend will be offered.
