• Experience in developing and implementing financing and transaction structures within a commercial / investment bank, a trading enterprise or both;

• Ability to build and maintain good relationships on both the client as well as banking/insurance side

working capital and risk cover solutions (trade credit insurance, discounting, transfer ownership transactions and other off-balance sheet structures) on the back of existing trade flows and core competencies. The candidate will be responsible for their own P&L.

• Experience in commodities supply chain and financing structures: The candidate is expected to have prior background in the agri-commodities or at least the broader commodities sector in general. There should also be an in-depth understanding of the various types of financing structures used by participants in the industry. Candidates from a banking background can also apply if they demonstrate a keen interest in the agri-commodities sector

• Documentation & Legal Expertise: Candidate should be very familiar with the documentation involved in the STF business and be knowledge on INCO terms, payment terms, shipping and legal documentation

• Process Owner: Own the process from deal initiation to execution with internal & external stakeholders. Lead the negotiating of STF documents such as bank purchase agreements, prepayments, risk participation agreements, etc

• Risk Mitigation: Partnering with Risk Team to obtain risk cover from banks and insurers to mitigate credit risk and working with Traders and Ops Team to minimise counterparty/operational risk

Internal Auditor • Undergraduate in finance/ trade finance / accounting / Banking and finance or any other related field

• Previous working experience in commodity or other related field will be an added advantage for this position.

• Having a proven track record in dealing with bankers will be a distinct advantage
