B.Sc.) by Parthasarathi N, Assistant Professor of Electronics, Coordinator –

JIPC, GSC - Hassan. The main objective of this program is to provide

Report on “Competitive Exams”

A class on “Competitive Exams” is conducted for final year students

(III year B.Sc.) by Sharath Chandra, Assistant Professor of Bio-chemistry, GSC

– Hassan. Examinations are the test of knowledge and ability. Before entering in

examination one should like to evaluate themselves, where they stand in respect

to others. The main objective of this program is for Job placements after the

completion of their respective Degree courses. With a wide range of questions

they can improve their knowledge quickly without referring various resources. They are used as entrance examinations for university and college

admissions or to secondary schools. Another types are civil service

examinations, required for positions in the public sector; the U.S. Foreign

Service Exam, and the United Nations Competitive Examination.

The event is conducted on 06/07/2016 between 3.30 pm to 5.00 pm in

GSC – Hassan. Around 24 students were attended for the program.

A special talk on Higher Studies is organized to final year B.Sc., students. Mr.

Gururaj, librarian, Surana College, Bangalore gave a special talk on the importance of Higher

Education in overall personality development and Nation building. Around 100 students were

present in the class. Interactive session after the special talk was very useful to the students.

Report on “Creating email account/address”

A class is conducted regarding the creation of en email address for

students pursuing in Science (III year B.Sc.) by Parthasarathi N, Assistant

Professor of Electronics, Coordinator – JIPC, GSC - Hassan. The main

objective of this program is for Job placements and for communication purposes

after the completion of their respective Degree courses. The event is conducted

on 18/07/2016 for final year students between 10.30 pm to 5.30 pm.

In the free time, the email id is created for nearly 200 students in the

Department of Electronics and the Internet Resource Centre by Parthasarathi N,

Assistant Professor of Electronics.

The programme was attended by about 55 students with the coordination

of M N Basavaraju, Associate Professor of Electronics.

information regarding the Master Degree, Government Jobs, MNC’s, etc., after

the completion of their respective Degree courses.

TVS Training and Services is a TVS Group Company and sign-up with ICICI Bank to source and train Sales Officers across South India.They

visited and selected candidates from more than 170 colleges in overall south India on behalf of ICICI Bank.

Prabhu R, Area Manager – BFSI, TVS Training and Services, Plot No. 86/E-2, 2nd Mail Road, Ambattur Industrial Estate, Chennai – 600058 and

Santhosh Belagaunkar, HR Executive, TVS Training and Services (North Karnataka), conducted the campus interview in our college. Around 100

students were participated in the campus drive from various Colleges from Hassan, and out of which 40 students were short listed.

be a Mock Interview by the MNC companies. It will be helpful for those who

attend for the interviews.

Sudarshan H, Director, Vivekananda Institute for Leadership Development, KIADB, Industrial

Housing Area, Hebbal Ring Road, Mysore, gave a special talk on the importance of Higher

Education in overall personality development and Nation building on 18.04.2016 for 2 hours.

He also gave a lecture on competitive exams. Around 30 students were present in the class.

Interactive session after the special talk was very useful to the students.
