In the words of in Edwin B. Flippo, “Job analysis is the process of studying and collecting information relating to the operations and responsibilities of a specific job.”

accountabilities and other requirements. To determine the relationship of the job to

Job Description Job Description is the organized and real

prospectus of duties and responsibilities of any specific job.

The main objective of job description is to segregate one job from another.

Job description discloses job content, work performed, environment, the responsibilities, skill or training required etc.

It is required to prepare job description before a vacancy is advertised, because it tells in brief the nature and type of job.

Job Specification Job specification is a statement of knowledge,
