Prior to that, he was headof the EMEA Financing Group for two years,and before that he was chief operating officerof the Investment Banking Division (IBD).Jim serves on the Management Committee,European Management Committee,Firmwide Risk, and the Securities DivisionExecutive and Operating Committees. Hejoined Goldman Sachs in 1995 as asalesperson for Emerging Markets Debt andwas named managing director in 2002 andpartner in 2006. Jim is on the Board of Directors of TheGlobal Fund for Children. Jim earned a BA in Political Science andEconomics from Brown University in 1990and an MBA from the Tuck School ofBusiness at Dartmouth College in 1995.
