Today in class I learned what the Bible says about…

Luke 17:11-19

• When Jesus was passing through Galilee and Samaria, he met ten lepers. They

stood off at a distance and called to Jesus to have mercy on them.

• Jesus told them all to go show themselves to the priests. As one leper saw that

he was healed, he returned to Jesus. He fell at Jesus’ feet giving thanks and

glorifying God.

• Jesus asked him where the other nine lepers were that were healed. He told the

leper that came back, that his faith had made him well.

What does the Bible say? • How many lepers asked Jesus to heal them?

• How did Jesus heal them?

• What did He say?

• When were they healed? • How many thanked Jesus?

What does it mean? • Do you think that Jesus always wants us to thank Him for everything? Why?

What does it mean to me? • What has God given to you? Have you thanked God for each of these?

• Do we need to praise God for all the blessings He gives us?

“Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.”
