Stewardship Reflection

21st Sunday in Ordinary Time: August 26 That we experience the Peace and Joy God wants for us in serving Him and others. “If it does not please you to serve the Lord, decide today whom you will serve…As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” (Joshua 24:15) When we commit to serve the Lord, we must be willing to become a partner in the work of the Lord. A partner is a person who invests time in prayer every day, joyfully participates in charitable works and generously supports the par-ish and Church mission. If we say we serve God, we must actual-ly do something and not merely talk about it!
