The release requires Banner Financial Aid 8.21, Banner General 8.6, Banner WebTailor 8.6.1.1, Banner Student 8.6.3 and Banner Accounts Receivable 8.4.5.

Banner Financial Aid - 8.22 (Required)

2015-2016 Winter Release The release will include:-2015-2016 EDE Dataload, Correction Processing and ISIR Print updates -2015-2016 FM Need Calculation updates -Banner Financial Aid 8.21.1 and any post 8.21.1 defect corrections The 2015-2016 Winter release is mandatory. The release requires Banner Financial Aid 8.21, Banner General 8.6, Banner WebTailor 8.6.1.1, Banner Student 8.6.3 and Banner Accounts Receivable 8.4.5.

Banner Financial Aid - 8.22.1 (Optional - however, installation prior to 8.23 is strongly recommended)

The release will include: -updates to Year in College to allow users to use algorithmic rules to determine a student's year in college -the ability to setup Borrower Based Academic Year (BBAY) and assign them to an applicant -the ability to package Direct Loans for a Scheduled Academic Year (SAY) or a Borrower Based Academic Year -the redesign of Direct Loans table structures and processing, including MPN processing and Loan Origination -the ability to process Direct Loans by period NOTE: The release contains a significant number of database changes for Direct Loan processing which requires you to review population selections, rules, local reports and processes, and any other modifications that have been made at your institution. This is an optional release.The release requires Banner Financial Aid 8.21, Banner General 8.6, Banner WebTailor 8.6.1.1, Banner Student 8.6.3 and Banner Accounts Receivable 8.4.5.

Release Details DateBanner Financial Aid - 8.23 (Required) 2015-2016 Spring Release

The release will include: -2015-2016 COD processing updates -Banner Financial Aid 8.22.1 and any post 8.22 defect corrections -2015-2016 California Dataload process will be rolled into 8.23 This is a mandatory release. The release requires Banner Financial Aid 8.22, Banner Financial Aid Self Service 8.22, Banner General 8.6, Banner WebTailor 8.6.1.1, Banner Student 8.6.3 and Banner Accounts Receivable 8.4.5. 8.6.1.1 Web Tailor can be applied directly upon both 8.6 or 8.6.1 Web Tailor. Accounts Receivable 8.5, 8.5.0.1 and 8.5.0.3 are strongly recommended. These patches support the Parent Plus Refunding functionality for the new table structure effective with 8.22.1, as well as the ability to trigger the disbursement calculation from TSASPAY.

Banner Financial Aid - 8.23.1

This release is primarily a maintenance release. All C and Cobol processes will be redelivered to support changes made in the General 8.7.3 release. There will also be additional miscellaneous defect corrections addressed in this release. Dependency information: General 8.7.3 to take advantage of the changes that were made in that release. Student 8.6.3, AR 8.4.5. It is strongly recommended that while these dependencies will allow for the release to be posted that clients move to more current release versions, such as Student 8.7 and AR 8.5.0.3 as a minimum.
