Kobe Bryant PosterPhotoshop Size: 11x17

This “Kobe Bryant Poster” was designed for a friend that is a huge Kobe Bryant Fan. The color scheme for this poster was easy to choose.I used the Los Angeles Lakers purple and gold. Images that you see in this design were found on Google. I edited them in Photoshop with the brush tool and changed the channel mode of that layer.

Remembering Michael JacksonPhotoshop & Illustrator Size: 11x17

This picture was created on June 25, 2010, which marked the first year anniversary of the death of the famous pop star Michael Jackson. I listened to Michael Jackson growing up and enjoyed watching movies and hearing stories about the young Michael. He was the greatest entertainer of all-time and his legacy will forever live . I created this picture using an images found on Google and edited them in Photoshop and Illustrator.

Bob Marley DesignPhotoshop & Illustrator Size: 11x17

This picture was created on August 25, 2010.After constantly seeing the same shirt that I purchased at Wal-Mart, I wanted to create my own Bob Marley T-Shirt design. I created this picture using the masking technique that I learned from Illustrator class. I used Photoshop to add color and change the channel mode of the picture.

This “Steve Smith Poster” was designed for a friend that is a huge Steve Smith Fan. The color scheme for this poster was easy to choose.I use the Carolina Panther blue, white and black. Images that you see in this design were found on Google. I edited them in Photoshop with the brush tool and the channel mode of that layer.

Divine 9 DesignIllustrator Size: 11x17

This design was orginally going to be on a T-Shirt for my mother who is a Delta. I cropped the Greek Letters using Photoshop but the layout and three-dimensional effect was created using Illustrator. I used regualar text for Divine, Greek Life and the number 9 because I didn’t want to overwhelmed the picture with Greek Letters.

The Jet BlacksPhotoshop & Illustrator Size: 11x17

This picture was thought of while playing cards with friends. Using the concept that there are four of a kind when the suits are put together, I decided to create a picture for my four closest female friends: Sierra, Amani, Kiara and Mary. I think of these women as four beautiful Queens; therefore, I used the four Queens and match the cor-responding suit to fit their personality. I created this picture using Illustrator clipping mask technique.

Reggae MusicPhotoshop Size: 11x17

I design this image for a Reggae poster contest. When I research the word Reggae I saw several images but the one that stuck out to me was Bob Marley, the lion and smoke. I blend the Bob Marly and the Lion together using Photoshop. I put the smoke on a Layer above and change the layer mode to Multiply. I add a Gradient Overlay with the Reggae colors. I downloaded the font type Hoedown from dafont.com and added a Layer style of Gradient Overlay, Stroke and Outer Glow.

The Summer of 2011, I intern with AMC Networks in the Digital Media Department. AMC hired me as a contractor for a moderator and graphic designer. I was asked to create a homepage tile for there website that displayed their popular shows. AMC is custom to using Photoshop so I layed this design out in photoshop and using the clipping mask technique to place the images inside the rectangular shape

Summer Sessions Tent CardPhotoshop Size: 11x17

Summer Sessions Department of the Office of University Outreach wanted me to cre-ate a tent card that would promote Summer class for College Students. The images were provide to me by the Office of University Outreach. The layout was a tent fold so when this design is printed it will assemble to stand up and sit on tables. On side of the tent card have the dates listed and the other side are letting people know they can register today. Both sides have the Office of University Outreach contact information where that office can be reached.

Summer Sessions FlyerPhotoshop Size: 11x17

The Summer Sessions department need me to create a flyer to promote a Summer class. This flyer will be posted around campus and into pamphets for bas-ketball games, musical events and more. The images was provided by the Office of University Outreach. I used illustrator to layout this page and use the clip-ping mask to get that image inside a circle. I put a gradient in the rectangluar objects to have a consis-tence color scheme with the A&T colors.

Summer Session MagneticPhotoshop & Illustrator Size: 11x17

I created this summer session magnetic in the Fall of 2011 for the Office Of University Outreach at N C A & T State University. I was contracted as graphic designer in which one of my task was to create the design for a magnetic/keepsake. This will be used to pro-mote enrollment for the Summer Sessions at NC A&T SU. I created the image on paper first then scaned it on my computer.I edited the image in Photoshop and Illustrator.

Home for SummerFlyerPhotoshop Size: 8.5 x 11

This Flyer was created for the Summer Session Department of the Office of University Outreach. The purpose of this flyer was to make aware of the requirements to enroll in the Home for Summer Program The layout of this flyer was created using Photoshop. I used the clipping mask technique to place the picture inside the circle and reduce the opacity for the picture located at the bottom right.

Office of University Outreach BannerIllustrator and Photoshop Size: 11x17

The Office of University Outreach wanted me to create a banner that represented their unit. Their unit consist of Continuing Edu-cation, Distance Learning, K-20 Engagement & Professional Development, Robotics and Summer Sessions & Certifi-cates. The images was found on Googel. I created the silhouettes of the photo located on the left and edited deleted the black background using Photoshop. The layout was created in Illustrator. I felt the banner didn’t pop until I added the vector symbol behind the world and colored it white.

Health Care BrochureInDesign & Illustrator Size: 11x17

This project giving to me by Pat White of the Office of Continuing Education. I had to redesign an old brochure. My main focus was the cover page of the brochure. I cre-ated the cover page using Illustrator but the layout was created in InDesign. The pictures was download from Microsoft.com.

This brochure of was created and giving to me by Shawn Waltington, Director of K-20 Programs. I had to create the cover page but I need to created to brochure from scratch to add the cover page. I created the brochure using InDesign. The images was edited in Photoshop to create the silohuettes but the layout of the cover page was created in Illustrator.

I created the Center of Academic Excellence website in November 2008. I was honored to be recommended by a professor in the technology department. I was asked to create a user friendly website that could be easily updated. I used Abode Dreamweaver to design this website. I continued to worked for the CAE until the Summer of 2011.

This flash file was created for the Center of Academic Excellence Website. I recieved the images from my supervisior Mr, Bran-don Johnson. Dreamweaver has a built in tool where it allows me to have built in flash media. The images are rotation one by one at every one hundred frame.

Louis ArmstrongHand Drawing Size: 11x17

I created this piece on December 21, 2011 after playing my friend’s trumpet over the winter break. I was reminded of how much I enjoyed playing when I was in middle school. Louis Armstrong was a famous musician that I researched in middle school and he inspired me to want to learn to play the trumpet. I wanted to learn to play well enough to play all type of genre of music especially the jazz and the blues. The materials I used to create this picture were drawing pencils and tissue to created the shading effect that you see.

Three Singing AngelsHand Drawing Size: 11x17

The concept of this picture came about one Sunday from going to church in December 2011. As the music moved within my soul, it inspired me to wonder about the angels singing in heaven. So I drew the picture of three angels singing to the world giving mankind the same joyous feeling that I felt that day. The materials I used to cre-ate this picture were drawing pencils and tissue to created the shading effect that would express their facial motions.
