One of our loyal customers, Penny Bauer. Penny comes every week to load up on veggies for herself and her grandchildren and yogurt from Pecan Point Creamery. She’s in love with the Maple yogurt, which is just slightly sweetened with maple syrup. We are so grateful for Penny and the other customers who come out to the farm to shop. our little market and are continually working to offer more locally produced foods! This week we’ve added pecans to the market table. Koinonia Farms in Americus has 90 acres of Organic and Biodynamically produced pecans. We’ve been buying these for years for ourselves and now will be offering them to our customers here.

Give the gift of health this holiday season! Ann just poured up a fresh batch of tinctures from this year’s crops of Ginger, Turmeric, Holy Basil (Tulsi), and Elderberry. Tinctures are concentrates or extracts of herbal remedies. We use medicinal herbs that we grow and steep them in organic cane alcohol for several weeks. We also sell the tinctures on Etsy if you are out of town. Elderberry has well researched anti-viral properties. It can kill cold and flu viruses. It is also an immune

booster, so good to take at the onset of sickness or as a preventative if you feel you’ve been exposed to

a virus.

Ginger is known to help with arthritis and other joint pain, cramps, sore throat, nausea, circulation and

digestive issues.

Holy Basil (aka Tulsi) has been used in Ayurvedic Medicine for over 3000 years to promote overall well-being, restore balance and reduce stress in the mind and body. Turmeric is known to help with inflammation, digestive issues, blood pressure, and boosting the immune system.

Tulsi observing the garlic seed separating from her “Bumbo” seat. Customers passed along some really nifty baby stuff to us and this seat is one of our favorite things. It’s perfect for her right now as she isn’t sitting up on her own.
