Zeroes Aren’t Permitted

� When a child fails to complete an assignment by the given due date, the student is “ZAPPED”. The student is then given a ZAP form to take home along with the incomplete assignment. This gives students one last chance to complete the assignment and communicates to parents/guardians that their student has missing work.

• Complete the assignment

• Have their parents/guardians sign the ZAP form

• Return both the assignment and ZAP form to the ZAP basket in the main office BEFORE 8:00 A.M. the next day.

If the procedure is not followed, students will report to the cafeteria during T2R to complete the assignment. If the assignment is not completed by the end of the day, it should be finished for homework and turned in to the office the next morning.

If a child continues to be ZAPPED:

• Parents/Guardians will be contacted

• In-School Suspension (ISS) will be assigned

• Parents/Guardians may be asked to meet with administration
