Welcome
We are so glad you chose to worship with us today and we are excited about all the things God has been doing and will do in our congregation!
Lives are being changed by the power of God. There can be little doubt that we have very little power on our own for lasting change to happen in our lives, yet when we choose to allow the Lord to lead and guide us, amazing things can happen.

God gave the ultimate gift of love in the birth, life, death, and resurrection of His only Son,
Jesus. The perfect “Lamb of God” would save us by becoming the atonement for our sins, just as the blood of the Passover lamb
saved the Israelites.
“for god so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to
save the world through Him” -John3:16
Mark 1:1-8 (NIV)
1 The beginning of the good news about Jesus the Messiah, the Son of God, 2 as it is written in Isaiah the prophet: “I will send my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way” 3 “a voice of one calling in the wilderness, “Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.” 4 And so John the Bap-tist appeared in the wilderness, preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. 5 The whole Judean countryside and all the people of Jerusalem went out to him. Confessing their sins, they were baptized by him in the Jordan River. 6 John wore clothing made of camel’s hair, with a leather belt around his waist, and he ate locusts and wild hon-ey. 7 And this was his message: “After me comes the one more powerful than I, the straps of whose san-dals I am not worthy to stoop down and untie. 8 I baptize you with water, but he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.”
