Danny had an amazing throwing arm for baseball that can possibly get him to the MLB for pitching.

B is for Baseball

This book is all about Baseball and Danny is all about Baseball also.

C is for Chico

Chico is one of Uno’s Baseball buddies he always hangs out with almost everyday.

D is for Danny

Danny is an extremely smart kid and an amazing baseball player that can go all the way to the MLB(main character)

E is for English

Even though Danny is Mexican he cannot speak any Spanish because of his mom.

F is for Flaca

Flaca is one of Sophie’s friend that she always hangs out with

G is for Guita

Guita hangs out with anyone she wants and only does it her way

H is for Home Run

Danny can hit a monster home run in the sand lot and hit it farther than anyone else. He even hit it over to houses.

I is for Innocent

Danny love his dad but near the ened of the book he realizes he is in jail and hasn’t seen him since he was little. So danny thinks he is innocent

J is for Juanita

Juanita is just another one of the friends who goes to parties and hangs out with anybody

K is for Knock down

Knock downs are strike outs in a baseball game and Danny can strike out anyone in the neighborhood

L is for Lolo

Lolo is Sophie's best friend who hangs out with her other friends

M is for Mexican

The book is called Mexican White boy because Danny is Mexican and white but feels left because everyone he hangs out with has dark skin but he doesn't

N is for Notes

Danny always writes notes to his dad because he misses him and wants to keep him updated on his life

O is for One-sixty

Danny and Uno do hustles which means they strikeout people for money. Uno is the catcher and Danny pitches. At the end of one day they make a rough $160 because of a fight that broke because the batter lost

P is for Padres

The San Diego Padres is Danny’s Favorite MLB team and he wants to play for them

Q is for Quiet

Danny is very shy and does not like to talk, not even to his family

R is for Raul

Raul is once again another one of Sophie’s friends who hangs out with her wherever she goes

S is for Sophie

Sophie is Danny’s cousin who is watches Danny while he visits her

T is for Tea

Uno's dad loves tea with every meal he eats and it is basically a drug to him

U is for Uno

Uno is Danny’s best friend and helps him get money from hustles. He also helps Danny with his pitching skill and nervousness

V is for Vacant

The sand lot the kids play at used to be a vacant lot which still is but now for play purposes

W is for White

Danny is a white boy who has a little bit a dark skin but he feels left out and uncomfortable because of this

X is for X-Rays

When Danny first came there he accidentally threw the bat or stick at Manny and he needed x-rays afterwards

Y is for Young

Danny is very young for a pitching because he is only 18 and can be a MLB player

Z is For Zipped

. When Danny throws that baseball at the fair game while drunk he zips the ball past the speedometer that read 92 MPH
