Java / J2EE Front-End Developer sought by this leading E-Commerce company based in the heart of Manchester. This organisation, which is currently going through a period of organic growth require a front-end Java Developer to come and join their expanding Java development team.

You will be part of a leading, multidisciplinary Java team made up of designers and front end developers that are focused on conversion optimisation. With an opportunity to progress and develop your own knowledge of Java based technologies this role will suit any level of developer from graduate to senior with 1 to 3 years commercial experience in Java development. The ideal candidates will either have a real passion for front-end Java Development, good team players and self-starters.

Technical Skills Required:

Experience in building webpages using Java J2EE, JSP and jquery Experience of using application servers: JBoss or Tomcat Knowledge of SQL / Linux command line

Soft Skills Required:

Independent and pro-active approach to finding solutions Result driven with regards to conversion and business opportunities. Excellent English communication skills University level in Computer Science, Math and/or Sciences (preferred) Currently living in the UK or Eligible to work in the UK
