£12m to help SME’s grow, develop and create jobs across Suffolk & Norfolk
21 grants awarded to date totalling over £2.1m, levering in £18.4m of private match funding.
Grants awarded to date forecasted to create 394 new full time jobs over the next 2 years.
Over 290 enquiries & applications from all areas of Norfolk & Suffolk.

£11m ‘invest to grow’ Government funding providing capital and revenue grants to SMEs. Includes 1-2-1 support for completing grant applications
New Anglia leading the way with 36 grants settled and 25 more in the pipeline
Around £280,000 already awarded in grant settlements, with further £230,000 in grants in the pipeline. Over £2.4m of private sector investment already committed across New Anglia
New element: ‘Energy 500+’ Grants of up to £1K for SMEs to install energy efficiency measures

Agri-tech Fund £2.5m
Working with the GCGP LEP and available across Norfolk and Suffolk the scheme has 2 elements: -
£2m Agri-Tech Growth FundGrants between £25,000 and £150,000 to support improvements in agricultural productivity.
£500,000 of investment to support the development of an Eastern Agri-Tech Centre
Finance for Business
Enterprise Zone
Six sites in Great Yarmouth & Lowestoft promoting & supporting investment in the energy sector by offering business rate discount, superfast Broadband & relaxed planning regulations.
Since award of EZ status (01.04.12) 8 businesses have moved in creating 263 jobs to date.
The EZ has had c£9m worth of private capital investment from business and partners.
By 2015 we envisage exceeding the original job forecast of 1380 by approx 35%.

Haverhill Research Park first project to be funded (Nov12) and repay its loan (Oct13)
