Jason & Kelly Ext. 4491 Dear Birth Mom, You are Amazing! Thank YOU, Thank YOU, THANK YOU for being so selfless and considering an adoption for your baby!!! We adore children and have always had a desire to be parents, but we are unable to grow our family on our own. We admire your courage and strength and have so much respect for you and the plan you are considering for your precious child. We have such an overwhelming amount of love and energy to share. Our faith in God is at the center of who we are. We take our marriage very seriously and realize it is a commitment to God as well as to each other. We live on the family farm with grandma and grandpa, an aunt and uncle, and 3 cousins living within walking distance. We enjoy having our nieces and nephew close enough to shoot hoops, paint nails and have dance parties and sleepovers with them. We enjoy teaching them new things like fishing, baking, gymnastics, and even how to play an instrument. We’re always in the stands cheering them on at their ball games or academic competitions and they will all be there to encourage and teach our child as well. We are blessed to be able to raise our child(ren) with our family nearby to shower them with the same unconditional love they have always shown us. If you choose us to raise your child, you can be confident we will always have their best interests at heart and they will always be provided for. We both have good jobs with a successful company that encourages a healthy work/life balance, but Kelly would be more than happy to be a stay-at-home mom. We are financially responsible and have been planning to grow our family for years, so we are prepared for whatever the future holds. Most importantly, we will make sure your baby understands what a selfless and courageous person you are and that your sacrifice was based on love, a love that wanted the best for them. If you choose us to be your baby’s parents, we will be forever grateful to you for sharing such an incredible gift with us. We would be honored to share an open adoption with you and will always be willing to share updates through letters and pictures, as well as visits. Prayers for you & your baby, Jason & Kelly

Dear Birth Mom,

You are Amazing!

Prayers for you & your baby,

Jason & Kelly

My parents were high school sweethearts and couldn't wait to be married so they both went to work at the local factory as soon as they graduated high school. They soon married, bought a farm and completed their family by having my brother and me. We grew up on a cattle farm, just a few miles away from our cousins and grandparents. We got on and off the school bus at Grandma’s and she took care of us during the summers while our parents worked. Even though my parents worked full time and ran the farm, they were at all of our games and supported all our activities. We had horses to ride, ponds to fish in, lots of dogs to play with, and baby calves to bottle feed. We enjoyed playing outside, riding our bikes and climbing trees. My brother Wesley and I have always been the best of friends; we never fought and always protected each other. We told each other everything. He is now married to his high school sweetheart and lives near my parents. He and his wife are also dealing with infertility so our child may have a cousin who is adopted some day!

I've always been outgoing and enjoyed being active. In school I played basketball and volleyball, cheered football and basketball, and ran track. I also played clarinet in the band and really enjoyed marching. My senior year I was the drum major and played a clarinet solo! I also participated on the Academic Team and was a member of S.A.D.D., Spanish club and Science club. I was also the Secretary of my senior class and was crowned Homecoming Queen and Sweetheart. After graduating from high school, I continued playing volleyball in park and church leagues, and started long-distance running. I continue to enjoy these hobbies, as well as painting, baking, photography and scrapbooking. My favorite hobby is spending time with my family and making memories with my nieces, nephew and my cousins' children.

Living on a farm meant we rarely took vacations, but we enjoyed a lot of cook-outs/picnics, sleepovers, family parties, and took several day trips to nearby places like state parks, theme parks, and the local pool. Our family continues to be very close. We enjoy just spending time together, reminiscing, laughing and babysitting our cousins' little ones. Every year we host a Happy Fall Y'all party, complete with food, games and a bonfire. We have costume contests for the young and young-at-heart, and games for the little kids. It's our favorite time of year! For Easter, my parents host the holiday. My grandma always made a lamb shaped cake and as the new generation is coming on, Mom is reviving the lamb cake and the Easter Egg hunts for the little ones. For Christmas, we play bingo and get to choose a gift when we win! We also have a family reunion every year with my dad’s huge extended family! We play cards and have a great time. Since Jason and I live a little over an hour away from them, when we go home, everyone comes to visit. My aunts, my uncles, and cousins all come over.

My mother was always looking to spend time with kids. She was an elementary school teacher’s assistant until retiring a few years back. She was there for my siblings and me everyday and working school hours allowed her to attend our games/recitals/presentations or just be there for homework and dinner when the bus dropped us off. She continues that same passion with my sister’s children. My father was a local truck driver who was home every evening. He provided the work ethic and love for the outdoors that I have. He bought his dad’s farm 40 years ago and continues to work it now that he has retired. As my parents live a minute away, we continue to have a solid relationship where we help each other out. I have two older sisters. They helped mold me, as I always wanted to be learning what they were doing in school. We all attended the same university and shared stories, rides, and dinners. They continue to be involved in my life as we spend time with their kids, especially with my middle sister, Karen’s triplets, since they live just a minute away as well. Karen’s triplets (2 girls and 1 boy) are so excited to have a new cousin living next door! My sister Donna lives about an hour away on a cattle farm with her husband and 2 daughters. We don’t get to see them as often, but her girls love to come and spend the night at our house. It’s always great getting all the kids together as they are all close in age. They will be enough older than our children that they will babysit, teach, and dote on them.

I was heavily involved in sports. I lettered in basketball, baseball, and tennis in high school. I was also a

member of the band and performed in the annual musical. Some of the best times in high school were the trips involved with camps, games, and performances. You became a family with your teammates and the camaraderie is something special. Today, I continue to follow my high school’s athletic teams and band as I understand the importance of alumni support by previously being in their shoes. My sport of choice today is long distance running, having completed 2 half marathons, a full marathon, and an ultramarathon in 2015. We are big sports fans and have attended numerous Colts and St Louis Cardinals games. We also have big hearts for our pets. We have a black Labrador and various outdoor cats; not to mention the pleasure of having my father’s cattle visible out our window making for that true country atmosphere.

My childhood was full of road trips and exciting country adventures that many kids do not get to experience. We took annual trips in the car to special places the U.S. has to offer, like Paoli Peaks, Mt Rushmore, and Niagara Falls. There were tractors to drive, cows to go see, fields to play in, and evenings where my cousins, aunts, and uncles came over to load hay bales. It was a great way to grow up and I can’t wait to give my child the same experiences. Today we often go to the lake where my aunt lives for a cookout, some fishing, and that’s where the kids have their Easter Egg Hunt. My dad has a tradition of making turtle soup. It’s a pretty big deal! At Christmas we make gingerbread houses and German cookies.

Jason and I were raised very similarly by hard-working, compassionate parents, who believed in

God, respected each other, and treated everyone with kindness. We both enjoy the simple things in life – family, friends, our pets, running, traveling, etc. We both like to lead a healthy lifestyle, but also enjoy a good pizza and ice cream. We are well rounded, balanced people. We enjoy spending time together, but also enjoy time apart with our friends. Jason is a good man and a hard worker; he's very intelligent and always wants to be learning. He makes time for family and is always quick to help his dad on the farm, or set up his mom's computer. He throws the football with our nephew and watches our nieces’ fashion shows and plays. We attend all the basketball games, cheer/dance events, cross country meets, spelling bees and math bowls that we can for our nieces and nephew. Jason will be a great dad – supportive, encouraging, attentive and compassionate.

Kelly and I share many of the same goals and hobbies, which is what brought us together in the beginning. From meeting on the volleyball court in a church where we both attended, to now, where we both desire to be parents. We both have the utmost respect for our parents who have essentially raised us to be very similar in our attitude and work ethic. She has a desire for a healthy lifestyle and enjoys exercising, both of which I admire in her. She wants to serve and please people, especially those close to her. She has a huge heart and errs on the side of compassion every time. It’s that love that makes her a special wife and will make her a super mother. She’s said that her purpose in life is to be a mother, to pour her love into a child. I can attest to that more each day as I see it displayed towards our friends’ and families’ children.

Our RelationshipI've always been very active in my church, volunteering with the youth groups, leading women's groups, etc. After years of playing volleyball with park leagues, my church asked if I would be willing to help coordinate an indoor volleyball league as an outreach ministry. I was excited to help and quickly organized game times and divided people into teams. I then called all of the people I had placed on my own team to let them know the first night would be an open gym meet and greet event. This guy named Jason told me he couldn't make it the first night because he was training for a marathon and was going with a friend to see this new marathon movie that had just been released. As a 3-mile runner, I had a lot of respect for someone who was going to run 26.2! The following week as I was setting up the volleyball nets, in walked this good-looking guy I hadn't met before and my heart jumped! Moments later he introduced himself to me; he was the marathon man! This began our first of many volleyball games. We dated for about 2 years, enjoying many volleyball games, running events, concerts, sporting events and cookouts with friends and family. One morning I received a text message from him with a photo of the front of my apartment with a flag in front of it. My heart jumped again as I completed a scavenger hunt to all our favorite places – the church/gym where we first met, the park where we played sand volleyball, the stadium where we attended many concerts, and the riverfront where we would meet to walk during our lunch breaks. Each location had its own flag and when I'd collected them all they read "WEDDING=10." When I got to the riverfront he was waiting for me at our bench. He said, "Before I open this box, will you marry me?"

We have been married since 2010. We share our home with a sweet Lab Mix named Addie.

Our home is located in the country, on land we purchased from Jason's parents. Both his parents and his sister's family live within sight. It is great to have family so close! We designed our home with an open layout intending on filling it with children. We wanted to be able to prepare meals in our kitchen while watching our children play in the living room floor. Our home has 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, a living room, dining room, kitchen, a walk-out basement and attached garage. Our basement is unfinished so it's a great place to skate and make messy crafts. Jason's drum set is down there along with our exercise equipment, Addie's (our dog) room, and a play area for all of our little visitors. We have a bunch of kids' books, a school desk with chalk board paint, dress up clothes, Barbies, and a game table for pool, air hockey, etc. We also have a detached garage where we host our annual Happy Fall Y'all party! Every October Kelly transforms Jason's manly garage into a party barn, decorating it with Fall and Halloween decor. The neighborhood we live in is quiet, peaceful and safe. We have lots of room for kids to play outside, and our nieces and nephew live next door and keep asking for cousins! There's a park about 3 miles away that has swings, monkey bars, merry-go-rounds, walking/biking paths and hiking trails. We like to go there on warm sunny days; even Addie enjoys swinging!

Kelly’s heart's desire has always been to be a wife and mother; she never dreamed of being anything else. Shortly after we were married, we decided to expand our family and move closer to our parents so our children would share the same close-knit relationships we did, with their grandparents and cousins. After a couple of years without conceiving we grew concerned and began our long journey of medical tests, exploratory surgeries, blood draws, medications, shots, procedures and more surgeries. Shortly after beginning the infertility journey, we received a phone call from an attorney friend of ours. She had been contacted by another attorney in a different area of the state and asked to find adoptive parents for a child that would be delivered in 1 month. While we had been praying for God to send us a baby and had discussed how awesome it would be if we could adopt, we had been overwhelmed by all the research we had done regarding the adoption process and hadn't registered with an agency.

That phone call was our confirmation that we should pursue adoption instead of continuing fertility treatments. We believe that God has given us the desire to be parents, and has blessed us with this home so He can fill it, and with all of this love so that we can share it. We are confident God has led us to the Adoption Support Center and that He will bless is with a child. We pray we can be a blessing to our child’s birth mother as well. We would be happy to build an open adoption relationship where we could share letters, pictures, and visits

throughout the years.
