Situated on the lobby floor of Hotel Panorama by Rhombus, Café Express features the popular Alaskan crab legs and freshly-shucked oysters. As the breezy Autumn arrives, Café Express presents a new array of delicious cuisine crafted with local ingredients from Japan and Korea, satisfying the appetite of discerning diners and rejuvenating for a new season ahead. The culinary team elevates the dining experience with exclusive seasonal cuisine. In September, each guest can enjoy half piece of Boston Lobster. In October, each guest can enjoy a piece of Yangcheng Lake Hairy Crab.
The whole new selection of hot and cold dishes include Ginseng Chicken Soup, Hokkaido Scallop Tartare, Avocado, Mango & Papaya with Japanese Queen Crabmeat Salad, Chilled Inaniwa Udon, Slow-roasted Beef Ribs in Korean Style, Eel Fried Rice with Crab Roe, Korean Bowl Rice, Stewed Big Clams & Mussel in Sake and more.
Ginseng Chicken Soup –Simmering the whole fresh chicken with Ginseng, Jinhua ham, scallops,
red dates and other nourishing ingredients, this symbolic Korean traditional soup is rich and satisfying.
Chilled Inaniwa Udon –Inaniwa Udon is smooth and chewy, very appetizing.
Slow-roasted Beef Ribs in Korean Style – Choosing the tenderest part of the Canadian veal, the
beef is first marinated with barbecue sauce, cut into small slices and slow cooked for 8 hours. The meat is soft and chewy in texture.
Eel Fried Rice with Crab Roe – Grilled eel with Japanese sauce tastes sweet and sticky and the
fish meat is delicate, paired with crab roe and fried rice with vegetables.
Korean Bowl Rice–The nutritious bowl rice consists of beef, vegetables and egg, presented in the
Korean family style. The renowned Seafood Counter showcases a tasty selection of fresh seafood. Available in both sessions of dinner buffet, highlights feature the popular Alaskan King Crab Legs, Alaskan Snow Crab Legs, Freshly-shucked Oysters, Boston Lobster Claws, Sea Whelks, Mussels and Poached Shrimps. Featuring a Carving Station of Roasted Beef Prime Rib Eye and a Sashimi & Sushi Counter, the dinner buffet also offers savoury refreshments, served right to the table by the Chefs.
