Nonprofit Works | June 13, 2019

The Nonprofit Center of Northeast Florida's fourth annual Nonprofit Works day-long conference will take place in Jacksonville, Florida on June 13, 2019. This event will bring together nonprofit staff and Board members of all sizes and mission areas to challenge thinking, explore new ideas, and provide nonprofits with the tools and connections they need to strengthen their impact in the community. The Nonprofit Works Conference was first held in June 2016 and has consistently attracted more than 200 nonprofit professionals.

The theme for Nonprofit Works 2019 is Cultivate Change. When you cultivate something, you work to make it better. The conference is designed to not only help nonprofits prepare for change but embrace and nurture tools and ideas that allow the sector to thrive. Our Keynote speaker this year is David La Piana of La Piana Consulting, noted for their Real-Time Strategic Planning methodology, as described in their groundbreaking book, The Nonprofit Strategy Revolution.

In addition to the keynote, there will be 18 session offerings under the following tracks: • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion • Organizational Learning and Impact Measurement • External Awareness and Advocacy • High Functioning Leadership Teams • Access to Capital • Board Governance

Registration for Nonprofit Works opens on February 14, after the conference is announced at our All-Member Gathering.
