“Martin Lawrence Presents 1st Amendment Stand-Up” begins its fifth season on Starz September 10th at 11:00 p.m. Comedians this year include Deon Cole, who will also guest host two episodes, Sandra Bernhard, Jimmie “J.J.” Walker, Roz G, D’Militant, Scruncho, Darren Carter, Pierre, Jay Phillips, Melanie Comarcho, Ian Edwards, Chocolate, Damon Williams, among others. There’s also a marathon from season 4 on September 9th beginning at 11:00 p.m.

The Starz Saturday Premieres for the month are Did You Hear About the Morgans? (9/11) starring Hugh Grant and Sarah Jessica Parker; Dear John (9/18) starring Channing Tatum, Amanda Seyfried and Henry Thomas; and Armored (9/25) starring Columbus Short, Matt Dillon and Laurence Fishburne.

Starz OriginalsStarz Entertainment’s hilarious stand-up comedy series, “Martin Lawrence Presents 1st Amendment Stand-up” returns for a fifth season with a new host, comedian Sheryl Underwood, and a fresh line-up of rising and seasoned comedy stars. The show, which is Starz’ longest running original series, is scheduled to premiere Fridays at 11:00 p.m. (ET/PT), beginning September 10.

Underwood will step in for original host Doug Williams, who will continue to serve as executive producer of the show.
