~ Led By The Spirit ~

“All who are being led by the Spirit of God are Sons of God” Romans 8:14

Matthew 3:11John the Baptist said, “I baptize you with water for

repentance, but He who is coming after me, is mightier than I and I am not adequate to remove

His sandals. ..”

John 3:30“He must increase, I must decrease.”

~ Spirit-led men recognize their limitations ~

I Corinthians 15:9I am the least of the Apostles and not adequate

to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.

~ The most prolific writer recognized his inadequacy ~

Philippians 2:3…with humility of mind regard one another

as more important than yourself

~ People tend to lead themselves ~

John 8:28Jesus said, “When you lift up the Son of Man,

then you will know that I am He, and that I do nothing on my own initiative, but I speak these things as the Father taught Me….He

has not left Me alone.”

~ Humility means that we don’t always know ~

Luke 4:18Jesus said, “The Spirit is upon Me, because He

has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor…”

~ The Spirit enables communication ~

Acts 10:38God anointed Jesus with the Holy Spirit and

with power and He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the

devil, for God was with Him.

~ The anointing enabled Jesus ~

Romans 8:6-7The mind set on the flesh is death. The mind set on the Spirit is life and peace, because the mind set on the flesh is hostile towards God. It does not subject

itself to the law of God, and is not able to do so.

~ Our focus determines if we can be led ~

Romans 8:26The Spirit helps our

weakness, for we do not know how to pray as we

should, but the Spirit intercedes for us with groaning too deep for

words.

~ The anointing meets our lack of knowledge ~

II Corinthians 3:5We are not adequate in ourselves to consider

anything as coming from ourselves, but our

adequacy is from God.

~ No one is truly adequate without the Spirit ~
