Thank you Jay and Connie Stevens for your endless energy and music over the last three years. Keeping the musical fires burning at the club has been hard work and we all appreciate it. We hope that you continue attending meetings and playing for us. We wish you the best of everything in your lives.
It is a New Year and time for the AZ Ac-cordion Club to continue promoting the art and music of the accordion. Starting this month Phil F and Chuck V will continue our 24 year tradition of keeping the accor-dion at the forefront of our music world.
We need someone to step up and take on the role of club Treasurer. Duties include collecting dues and meeting fees and keeping track of our operating expenses. No previous experi-ence is needed.
Questions for members to consider in the future:
•Do you want to keep holding our meetings on Monday nights, or return to Sunday afternoons?
•Is our central Phoenix meeting location at the American Italian Club convenient? East Valley? West Valley?
Please bring your accordion and play for us. We’d love to hear your favorite songs and unique playing styles. Play for us like you play at home.
I am looking for ideas for meeting shows and will try to return to some of the successful shows we have had in the past such as: Ladies Night, International Night, Holiday play-along, and guest artists. So far I have planned
