The IQS Method

The I Quit Smoking method is the result of years of scientific and medical research in thefield of auricular therapy, which resulted in a unique system, featuring the R.I.S.E.technology.

Approved by the CE and UL, R.I.S.E. is customized to suit each individual smoker using acomfortable electrical stimulation in the auricles or ear. By stimulating these reflex pointsin the ear, the smoker loses their desire to smoke.

IQS System & Technology Overview

I Quit Smoking’s R.I.S.E. (Reflection Instrument Scanning Electro-pulse) takesapproximately 1 hour and is administered by an IQS-trained therapist.

During an evaluation discussion and PowerPoint presentation, the smoker’s personalinformation is recorded. (i.e., age, smoking habit details, etc.)

IQS Treatment - Phase 1(Determining the addiction/dependency)

1. Consultation:

• Customer completes a anamnesis (record) incl. Fagerström dependency test.

Can everyone be treated?

Although the IQS therapy can be applied to a much wider range and comes without all the complicationsand side effects of other methods, there are some few instances where it is NOT allowed or onlyallowed under specific protocols to ensure the therapist does not end up in any undesired situation.

• HEART PACE MAKER: Anyone with a heart pace maker can not be treated as there is a remote chance the electro-impulses may interfere with the pace maker.

• PREGNANCY: IQS treatment for pregnant women in 1st trimester is not allowed and we recommend to postpone till2nd trimester. During IQS training the therapist will acquire the skills to manage pregnant customer after 1st trimester.

• EPHILEPHSY: Any smoker who suffers from epilepsy can be treated with IQS but during training the exact protocolwill be trained.

• DRUG and ALCOHOL: Any recovered drug and alcohol addicted smoker can be safely treated and IQS is highlyeffective.

• ANTI DEPRESSANT: Any smoker on anti-depressants can be treated, the precise protocol will be trained.

• ANY OTHER MEDICAL CONDITIONS: The IQS medical board/doctor can assist in any questions before or aftertreatments to clarify any on other situations.

Although Auricular Therapy is used world wide for many other addictions, in IQS we are not to apply the therapyfor DRUG, ALCOHOL addiction.


IQS Treatment - Phase 2- R.I.S.E. therapy-

During the actual therapy, the customer relaxes in a chair listening to softmusic while therapist follows with the stimulating pen on each R.I.S.E. points,

• It is basically check, place and press a button start the treatment.

• The I-Stim provides low intensity modulated micro-current stimulation torelated points on both ears to excite, stimulate or calm the meridian points.

WHO – 27% of South Africans above 15 year smokes

Forbes magazines published South Africa has 30% smoking above 15 years.

Studies shows 1/10 people died of mouth, throat and lung cancer last year.

Smoking is the cause of 90% of the above numbers.

That means roughly 20000 people per year but it is a known fact that figures rise dramaticallyas the 45% smokers of the last 20 years mature.

There are now 7 Million smokers in South Africa of which 70% wants to quit.

World Health Organization research has established that 70% of all smokers are thinking aboutquit smoking. The average smoker will make a serious attempt to quit smoking at least 2 timesin 3 every years.

Considering the 70% figure, that means 4.5 million smokers will be looking to quit, if theyfound a way that would work.

Considering those in age groups 28 to 50 (Typical IQS customer profile) who are ready toquit, it would result in 150 000 per each large city.

Considering that not all people can afford IQS, not all will make the same choices, not all ofthem are ready NOW, we estimate that an IQS centre will have about 500 potentialcustomers within reach in any given year.

That is a potential R1,000,000 from smokers who just needs to be told about IQS.


Youngsters lighting up daily, will smoke for some years only to mature and want to quit in 10 years time.

Our statistical research over last 18 months shows that smokers/people under 22 visited our pages butnever asked for info, smokers 22 to 27 “liked”, asked for info and joined our pages but didn’t necessarilybecame customers. Smokers from 28 to 55 year old makes out the majority of our customers. (Facebookand IQS statistics 2011 – 2013)

The youth are interested, young to middle age people like and ask, the matured people become IQScustomers. That simply means there are a lot of smokers who are not ready yet. Green “crops” on thefield.

Most the smokers who come to IQS has tried to quit at least 3 to 4 times before. The Business Model

In order to avail the best and simplest business opportunity world wide, the IQS Networkmodel enables entrepreneurs to acquire their own IQS business package for a lowinvestment amount and operate with very low overheads to achieve profitability.

The Master Distributor will import and sell the RISE treatment license cards/credits.

Each IQS Operator will be able to attract business from the entire surrounding area as thenew IQS/ES equipment is completely mobile.

With the initial RISE kit comes pre-loaded 20 IQS treatments.

90% Smokers manage to non smoke after 1st treatment.

The average smoker require 1-2 follow up treatments to remain comfortable non smoker.

Our Next Step

After you have studied all the information, filled and returned the application form showing you are ready to proceedwith becoming an IQS/ES Operator, we will have a teleconference where we can meet each other.

In some situations it may be possible to meet you in person. You are of course welcome to come to our pilot IQS/EStreatment centre and watch what we do and even observe a treatment or receive an IQS/ES treatment.

We will then forward a signed contract (Operators Agreement) which you can take to your lawyer or any legal adviceyou may wish to seek, where after you can sign and return to us.

12. The process forward put into in perspective:1. After receiving the application form pages 1 to 5 and signed NDA, we will send you the Disclosure Document of IQS and ES for Southern Africa.

2. After you have gone through the Disclosure Document and you confirm that you want to proceed and buy the IQS and/or ES business, a soft copy of theBusiness Agreement will be send to you by e-mail.

3. At any stage we can meet telephonically or through a Skype call. If an opportunity arises, we can meet in person. You are welcome to visit us at ourPilot centre at any given time.

4. Once you are satisfied with the contents of the Business Agreement, we print and sign two hard copies which we will send to you for signature.

5. Once you sign both hard copies and return one signed Business Agreement to us, the Business acquisition fee is invoiced.

6. A 50% deposit to order the equipment is required. Remaining 50% is due when equipment is ready for shipment to you.

7. Delivery takes 2-4 weeks.

8. To help you prepare, appropriate marketing examples (soft copies) and in depth background information on IQS and/or ES is sent to you to help youprepare.
