13. Anything else you d like to tell us?

The real most important issue for the General Assembly to deal with is jobs and the

economy. I can't believe you left that off as an issue.

Attend the MCGOP Lincoln Reagan Dinner - Speakers Sen. Rubio, The Honorable Tom

Delay or The Honorable Jim DeMint

8/13/2019 January 2014 RMN Poll

http://slidepdf.com/reader/full/january-2014-rmn-poll 7/17

restore the republic and the Constitution of 1787; repeal The Act of 1871; term limits

(max 2 terms) for all representative offices, abolish gov't paid life long pensions &

healthcare; abolish electronic voting machines; abolish The Fed; repeal ObamaCare;

activate NESARA; activate global currency revaluation

Fight to cut taxes, spending and anti-business regulations!!!

  Red Maryland is awesome.

Taxes, spending, corruption, crime, they are all the same issue in my mind.

Brown/Frosh are running on the 100% labor union platform: universal pre-K (more

union jobs); min wage; they'll demagogue income inequality. Instead of spotlighting the

poorly performing schools (income inequality stems from skills inequality, over 95% of

people in this state make more than min wage because they have skills/experience).

Out of control spending, ballooning pension debt, means that the gaping structural

deficit eats ever higher tax revenue, which is money that should be invested in schools

and public safety. And, crime and homicide is the highest in the zip codes with thelowest median income. People who have opportunities in legal markets don't pursue

them in illegal ones and become heroin dealers. taxes, spending, crime, corruption -

its all fundamentally the consequence of politicians beholden to municipal unions, and

invariably leads to the same place, like Detroit.

Brian Griffiths is STILL a cutie!!!

Repeal last year's SB-281 gun law.

We need to find a young, carrismatic candidate, who exemplifies conservative principles,

& then back him

Repeal common core  Laura Neuman for AA County Exec.

  Keep up the good work.

  Griffiths is a bitch

The unfortunate extreme financial burden and less coverage Obama care has turned out

to be on the working class.

Thank you Red Maryland for all you do

Marijuana should be legalized for all uses. It is not harmless, but most legal products are

not harmless, even water consumed to excess can be deadly. The argument for

marijuana prohibition is the same as the rightly mocked soda ban in New York. Thegovernment knows better than you do. That doesn't seem like a conservative value.

I would like to see politician put the public first and not there selves. They also need to

have commons sense which most of then do not process.

Stop helping the Sun attack mdgop!

8/13/2019 January 2014 RMN Poll

http://slidepdf.com/reader/full/january-2014-rmn-poll 8/17

Anybody but Tari Moore in 2016

Red Maryland should form a committee "Anybody but Matt Adams for Somerset County

Central Committee"

Tari Moore should resign. Thanks for staying on top of this critical issue

Here's hoping John Wafer does not get re-elected  Don Murphy is my spirit animal

  Wigfield for Delegate

Can you guys break down public financing. Why would any Republican consider

accepting it?

  Not really.

  Revolt!

An effort should be made by conservatives to prevent voter fraud which may be a factor

in helping liberal candidates to continually get elected and re-elected into office.

With all that's goin on here in the state of Maryland the only thing keepin me here isfamily that I've got here, now that the state has pretty much followed suit with other

states legalizing and magininalizing vice, gay marriage, gambling, marijuana.it seems as

there's no stopping this train wreck.but I'm goin to keep my faith and my love for the

god of the bible.iknow the Republican Party is doin the best that it can.with the

circumstances being as they are.the only things that are really left are your faith and

your family.but I'll continue to support the main planks of the Republican Party.

Reform legislation for illegals no free pass

You should have allowed for more than one answer in question #8. Also, you need to

emphasize the fact more loudly and clearly that Republicans did have a balanced budgetand a surplus when Bob Ehrlich was Governor. There isn't enough good publicity about

what the Republicans stand for and support.

Stop over spending. Term limits. Paying full salerys to elected officials for life.

Need to get the tax and spend and tell everyone what to do liberals out of the State

House!!

I am a lifelong republican but I have lost confidence in the party......Very dissatisfied.

Greg Kline is obviously a closet pothead. Anybody who can quote MST3K and wore his

hear like Ron Jeremy has a penchant for the bud. I can see him toking up in his frat

house's bathroom with a few cans of Natty Boh at his side. I think his hatred of pot

comes from a horrible experience where he tried to combine a bong hit with a keg

stand. Maybe he was stripped naked and duct tapped to a flagpole in the middle of his

college campus.

We need to clean house in MD. Get rid of the excessive tax & spend routine, and stop

the govt involvement in our personal freedoms!

8/13/2019 January 2014 RMN Poll

http://slidepdf.com/reader/full/january-2014-rmn-poll 9/17

  Lower taxes

I used to have a ton of pride in being from Maryland. People like Martin O'Malley have

stripped that from me!

LET WESTERN MARYLAND BECOME ITS OWN STATE!!!!!!!!!

Taxes, Regulations and Obamacare are destroying the middle class. I think it's abouttime we change Md or I change my residence.

I think the Republican should do everything it can to run Herb McMillan out of office.

this guy is the puppet master for the new mayor in Annapolis

Learn how to use social media finally. The Dems mastered that in 2008 and have only

widened their lead in that area since. Republicans are WAY behind in that area. I work in

that area and am always amazed at how behind Republicans are when it now

determines who wins.

Being in Hancock/Clear Spring area, I feel everything we stand for is erased by the

liberals down in the cities. Very frustrating!  I changed party affiliation to democrat, because the Republican party in MD is dead. By

registering as dem, I can vote twice to try and get rid of the liberal bastards and

incumbents. I am pro-gun; a policeman, and tired of MD telling citizens they don't have

the right to protect themselves. I figure the best way to fight the democrat liberals in

MD is to infiltrate them and vote out incumbents in the primaries, then vote Republican

in the general elections.

  Less government, more freedoms

Oppose all Gun Control legislation, oppose tax increases. Demand a balanced budget

act.  Uphold 2 Admenment turn Maryland into a shall issue state

No amnesty for illegal immigrants. If the republicans support this I am becoming an

Independent.

Marijuana should be strictly regulated for medical use. The loss of our liberties is of the

utmost importance to me, that was not a choice on your list in question 8.

Win The election before we start arguing amongst ourselves.

You question 12 is confusing because it lumps in "recreation" and "medical". There are

a number of drugs used in medical situations that should not be used as recreation. So

it seems that this question is imbalanced when requiring a yes-or-no answer.  Last week Brian said on the show that Red Maryland should buy High Times magazine.

That's a great idea

I would support a presidential ticket of Senator Ted Cruz (TX) for President and

Congressman Trey Gowdy (SC) for Vice President!

8/13/2019 January 2014 RMN Poll

http://slidepdf.com/reader/full/january-2014-rmn-poll 10/17

Maryland should become a shall issue state to carry a gun. This will reduce the crime in

the state.

Restore the gun laws to remove all the fees. It is unfair that only the rich are allowed to

defend themselves.

Stop attacking our constitutional rights. Repeal the idiot governors gun control laws.Repeal his taxes so businesses and citizens will stop moving out of the state. Stop the

favoritism, pet projects and start acting like a responsible adult assembly who has its

citizens best interests at heart and who actually LISTEN to the voters who put them in

office

Government Officials need to be held accountable for failure. The government should

not be telling me what choices I should make in living my life..

Love your shows and blog. Congratulations on your Baltimore Sun affiliation.

The republican party needs to stop being wussies! and go back to the principles of

Ronald Reagan.  Tari Moore is a non issue why is it included in your survey

State GOP needs new direction and leadership

  Taxes are another huge issue.

  Bhorribly based question #10

The Democratic Party today is the greatest threat to this country and our freedoms

since the British Empire. My deceased parents were Democrats but they would be

appalled to see how this party has changed in the last 20 years.

Gun control was not on the list of choices but is my number one issue. I'm sick of

infringement!!!!!  We need to stop the overspending and the no bid contracts that are going to companies

who have donated money to these corrupt politicians.

  Get rid of O'Malley

The attack by Maryland on my 2nd amendment RIGHTS by passing SB281 last session is

the most important issue in the upcoming Maryland General Assembly Session and it

isn't even on your list above. WHY?? MASSIVE OVERSPENDING by this state is the

SECOND most important issue, and it is not on your list above. WHY? I need a new

Political party, the Republicans have left me!!!

Repeal the Safe act of 2013!  Maryland legalized medicinal marijuana last year. However, the regulations in the law

make it nearly impossible to obtain.

I'd like to be able to select more than one answer for question no. 8. There are SEVERAL

burning issues that are ruining, not only MD, but the country as a whole - taxes,

corruption, health care (obamacare is TERRIBLE), regulation, crime...

8/13/2019 January 2014 RMN Poll

http://slidepdf.com/reader/full/january-2014-rmn-poll 11/17

No new taxes, and repeal some old ones.

  Maryland Shall Issue

  Quit throwing away MY money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If all goes well, I will no longer live in OweMalleyland in November. I will be living in

West by golly Virginia! Sick of the whole political game and the thieves that are ruiningour lives!!

  KCCO

This state need jobs - why can't we frack for gas like other states? why can't we add

another reactor to Cove Point and expand the LNG facility?

I'm establishing an exploratory committee for a congressional run against Steny Hoyer.

Can Red Maryland help me? Tom Potter 301-751-1962

save our state kick Herb McMillan out of Republican party

Against amnesty for illegals and it needs to be stopped to save Maryland!

Concerned about Common Core education  Win!

Cut off all public funds to illegal aliens!

We need to stop spending money on petty issues that only effect limited numbers of

people within this state.

Repeal the gas tax and the rain tax.

Remove good and substantial reason from concealed carry requirements.

No more gun laws and get rid of 281 as of oct 1 2013. Stupid dumb law that endangers

my family, pass a conceal carry law

You forgot, repeal SB 281. Or drop licensing for handguns. Return to 20 round magazine

limit.

The party needs to wake up and "get" with the times. They're losing elections over the

abortion issue. While I don't approve of abortion, there are far more important things

that we lose our voice on by losing elections. Taxes in MD are astronomical. We're losing

businesses & jobs. The Obamacare mandate is destroying healthcare companies (I've

spoken to execs at Kaiser Permanente) and individuals that can't afford the premiums.

The country & MD are a mess. I have no hope for the future & no hope for my children's

future.

The recently imposed, draconian gun control laws MUST be changed. Criminals won't

follow them and they put law abiding, private citizens at greater risk.

People want Republicans who use common sense and thoughtfully consider their point

of view. Those who seek infighting attract people who do not and cannot think for

themselves. The Republican Party is known, in my opinion, as the party of crazies and

8/13/2019 January 2014 RMN Poll

http://slidepdf.com/reader/full/january-2014-rmn-poll 12/17

wingnuts. Even more so than those on the left. And that's saying something. I am

seriously thinking about switching parties just to be disassociated with such nonsense.

Yes I want the Gun Grabbers out of office. I want politicians to stop treading on my 2nd

Amendent rights.

We want the right to gun carry permits!

I also like Ted Cruz for president but my first choice is Dr Ben Carson b/c of his quiet yet

bold opinion of ObamaCare to start with.

The Republicans have botched the last elections so badly tha I reregistered as an

independent. We need new candidates who care about the environment while believing

in less government and lower taxes. SB 281 needs to be repealed or gutted and

concieled carry reform instituted.

O'Malley, Brown and G answer need to be thrown in jail and made to pay back the

people of Maryland all the money they stole from us and put them on a chain gang

20hrs a day!  Please don't call me or email me asking for money. I think you waste it and I am

seriously considering changing my party to Independent. But I do wish you the best of

success in resurecting a dead Maryland party. Hint: use social media!

State officials don't get raises until state employees get back all the raises lost over the

past 12 years

I would vote for one politician that proposed a bill to cap tax increases which include

property tax, sales tax, and liquor tax. How a Republican could propose a property tax

cap and be turned down by their own party is despicable.

I am concerned with the lack of care for the children and seniors in this state. I wouldlike to join and start a program that the taxpayers aren't held hostage to fund. Please

contact me @410-240-2214

Lack of jobs and poverty outside Baltimore County/City should be addressed. It would

also be nice if children in the state of Maryland could attend their public university if

they have at least a "C" average.

I don't like weak republicans. I am a conservative and I want my representative to be

also conservatuve

we need people of integrity, honesty and ethics

The Republican party needs to unite once more to defeat the Democrats. Being split andarguing from within will guarantee a painful loss.

I want to see more outcome research of how the money spent was used for it's

intended purpose with a positive result.

#8. Actually my most important issue is gun laws-- major infringement of our rights. Tied

for second is taxes and spending.

8/13/2019 January 2014 RMN Poll

http://slidepdf.com/reader/full/january-2014-rmn-poll 13/17

  Support nullification.

Make us a new state-----WESTERN MARYLAND. We do not have a say up here for

Anything. Why vote. Why say anything? It does not matter . The only people that

count are Frederick County and below. Things are different up here than down there.

You can not treat issues the same. Look at the taxes. Our needs are different. But NoOne Cares

  No taxes

Vote OUT anyone, Republican or Democrat that supported SB281 and any of the Anti

Gun Amendments. You can't behind a NO Vote on the actual bill.

  Fight to kill SB 281

  No RINOS. No Christie

  MD SUCKS.

The Maryland GOP Conventions should be an opportunity to show-case candidates and

to garner donations instead of an insiders-only confab.  Restoration of our 2nd Amendment rights.

Let people decide what's right and wrong for them. I don't care if some dip shit wants to

smoke dope, drink or whatever. That's between them and their Maker. Just lower my

taxes and leave me alone!

Uphold our constitution and get rid of the double standards

I am against gun control...I want my representatives to understand that. I also want our

elected officials to hold all accountable to our form of government and stop allowing

executive orders to be issued to in effect create laws. We have an executive and

legislative branch for a reason. Last I checked The United States of America was not adictatorship, nor was MD. I'd o like to see this democratic crew in Annapolis broken up.

Te nothing but yes men with little care for governing and alit ohf care for themselves.

No other candidate is in a position to challenge and beat Charles Lollar. Hands down the

best candidate.

repeal SB281 is my main issue. It is not on your list.

I am being taxed into the ground and will leave this state if it continues I'm tired of the

Rino candidates the GOP has been pushing on us all . If the GOP doesn't start standing

up for the conservative agenda this country so desperately needs I will abandon it and

abstain fro the voting process all together . I heard Charles Lollar speak and feel he isthe type of candidate we so desperately need . Now give him the support he needs to

get elected . Thanks , Steve Murray

  Repeal SB281!

Charles Lollar's campaign is the biggest joke ever

8/13/2019 January 2014 RMN Poll

http://slidepdf.com/reader/full/january-2014-rmn-poll 14/17

My #1 hope is that we can get back to basics and honor the US Constitution. My #2 hope

is that MD could once again be a good place to do business.

1 Elect Charles Lollar, 2 get gov't out of my wallet

I'd rather tax marijuana than the rain.

stop the bleeding!!! Cut out the ridiculous spending -- STOP inventing taxes -- Go to aflat tax and call it a day -- Corruption?? Please! EVERYONE would have to go so we can

start fresh....

Gun Control is not a choice on question 8 above. I am pro 2nd -amendment and our

representatives did NOT represent the thousands of pro 2A men and women who came

to Annapolis last year. They voted against what the citizens of Maryland wanted.

These new gun laws need to over turned. Law abiding citizens should be allowed to

obtain a concealed carry permit. It is almost impossible to receive one now and that is

not right. I can carry in many states except my home state.

The most important issue should be bringing buisness and jobs back to Maryland.  The rain tax needs to be adopted state-wide, not burdened by a few counties.

Tari Moore has done a fabulous job as county executive. Sadly, there is much

misinformation concerning her "leaving" the Republican Party and registering as

unaffiliated. She gave the county council plenty of time and numerous votes to appoint

a replacement. Because they failed to do so, she took the appropriate action.

Top issues: Spending Taxes Education Regulations

T current gun regulation laws need to be change to reflect the spirit and intent of the

founding fathers.

On behalf of the entire Eastern Shore I apologize for the yahoo haters y'all have pickedup from over here

The sooner O'Malley is out of office, the better.

Waiting four months to obtain a handgun is downright unconstitutional. I want my gun

rights restored in MD. Also, republicans are loosing support because they refuse to

accept libertarian point of view. Stop focusing on social issues we need less taxes and

less regulation. Call out the free loaders of society. There is no longer left vs right, it is

now Libertarian Vs Authoritarian - Md Republican party better pick a side and make it

clear if they want to win.

Out with the OLD!  we need to repeal the gun laws and make concealed carry open to law abling citizen

  The democrats have to go

Maryland is way ahead of the curve when it comes to robbing its electorate of it's

freedoms...

We need to reinstate Jesus in the classroom and courthouse.

8/13/2019 January 2014 RMN Poll

http://slidepdf.com/reader/full/january-2014-rmn-poll 15/17

Marijuana should be legalized to create a new tax base.

  Let's unseat Michael Bush

cut spending & lower taxes... Repeal the unconstitutional gun restricitions

Remember the oath you took when you took office and stand by it. Socialism is not

acceptable.  Question 8 should've included gun rights.

Make sure that the full record of Lt. Gov. Brown is made known including his opposition

the Jenifer's Law and stand on taxes.

Taxes and regulations seem to be running our businesses out of our state.

No gas tax, rain tax and abolish sb 281 firearms sarcastic abomination . Repeal of them .

:)

The only thing more annoying than Tari Moore's self-righteousness is the self-

righteousness of her supporters

Do a Red Maryland pinup calendar!  Matt Adams is a punk

I'd vote for an inanimate object before I'd vote for Charles Lollar because I at least know

the inanimate object wouldn't surround itself with a crew of incompetents

Tari Moore should have been impeached

We need a representative with the kahunas to stand up to the Democrats. We need a

mariujuana is a terrible use of resources and is counterproductive. I believe that

weekends of hard labor or volunteer service would be more effective punishment.

Tea Party Patriot on both social and economic issues. Rally all Marylanders behind

common values. Better explain and iterate conservative principles
