Red meat producers need to ensure they have the current LPA NVD version when consigning livestock.

From 1 Jan 2021 all species (Cattle, EU Cattle, Sheep. & Lambs, Goats and Bobby Calves) must use the July 2020 (0720) version.

Previous versions:• April 2013 (0413) version for cattle EU Cattle, Sheep & Lambs• May 2017 (0517) version for Goats• April 2012 (0412) version for bobby calves

will only be accepted until 31 Dec 2020.

A current LPA NVD is required for all livestock movements, including property to property, through saleyards, direct to processors and to feedlots, and to the live export trade.
