*Our classroom is working on not talking when we are learning a lesson and following directions better.
*Cool Tool for Week of December 8, 2014: “Bugging & Bothering Others” - Trying to stay to
yourself.
*Don’t forget to send your child with “100” items (they must fit into a ziplock bag)
*The snack list has been given out for January & February please sign-up and send back with your child. Thank you!
*Please make sure students get their January reading log in by Friday, January 30, 2015 in order to receive their Pizza Coupon for January.
*Students are working on adding two-digit numbers to one-digit numbers and regrouping. Please practice this concept at home with your child.
*Our classroom is out of PENCILS, if you have any extra ones or can purchase any it will be appreciated... THANKS in advance!!!
Kudos goes out to Wyatt. It has been rocky
for our classroom coming back from break
but he has shown he knows the
expectations of Southern View. I am so
very proud of him. He continues to work hard and show appreciation for learning.
He is always on task and he is very
enthusiastic. Keep up the good work!

In Writing....In writing students are beginning the “Opinion Unit”. They will be writing opinion letters based

In Science...In science students will begin a “Weather Unit”.
They will discuss water, rocks, earth, and weather.
In math students are starting Topic 8: Adding Two-
