    Kasey Seyfert, who has

    missed out on much of

    the wrestling season due

    to injury, is getting back

    into the swing of things

    with just two weekends of

    competition left before the

    Eastern B/C Divisional

    Tournament. Following

    a 4th place fnish at the

    Cut Bank Invitational, he

    went 2-2 at 126 poundsat the Cowboy Invitational

    in Miles City this past

    weekend. The Scotties,

    who fnished 20th place at

    the Cowboy, are happy to

    have Kasey back on the

    mat. Glasgow had only

    six wrestlers competing

    in the varsity tournament.

    Gabe Hallock placed 7th

    at 103 pounds and MickReyling placed 8th at 138

    pounds. At 145 pounds,

    Cody King went 2-2 as

    did Alex Hallock at 152

    pounds. Jaden Hughes

    wrestled at 205 pounds.

    The Scotties will be at

    the Chinook Mixer on

    Friday night and will be

    at the Harlem Invite on

    Saturday.

    passed away January

    14, 2016 at ValleyView Nursing Home

    in Glasgow.

    Idell was born

    October 28, 1934 in

    Wol Point, Montana

    to Martin and Lydia

    (Schaer) Kappes.

    She completed her education Nashua, Montana.

    She married Pete Nicol on July 17, 1954. ogether

    they had three children whom they raised on the

    amily arm southeast o Nashua.

    Idell worked hard all her lie, whether it was on

    the arm or outside o the home helping make ends

    meet. She will be remembered or her large gardens

    which yielded and over abundance o vegetables to be

    shared with amily and riends, as well as her love o

    animals. She lovingly spoiled her pets and willingly

    ed any stray that came along.

    We will all miss the wonderul treats she lovingly

    made or Christmas Eve dinner which she started

    baking ater hanksgiving. She was a wonderul

    cook and enjoyed canning crocheting and word

    search puzzels.

    Idell was preceded in death by her parents

    Martin and Lydia and brother, Harold.

    Idell is survived by her husband, Pete Nico

    o the amily home; three children, Deborah (JR

    Cusker o Nashua, Montana, Rusty (helma) Nicol

    o Kalispell, Montana, and Carrie Nicol o Glasgow

    Montana; grandchildren, Danielle (Casey Jones)

    Cusker o Chinook, Montana, Earl (Mikki) Cusker oLaurel, Montana, Kaitlin (Steve Chappell) Cusker o

    Glasgow, Montana; great-grandson, Gage Cusker o

    Cherry Point North Carolina; and numerous pets she

    cared or and worried about whether they were hers

    or not.

    Bell Mortuary has assisted the amily with private

    services and burial. Idells amily requests that in lieu

    o cards and lowers that donations be made in her

    memory to the Northeast Montana Pet Rescue.

    Our beautiul MotherMerle Joy Clampitt, Little GlassChina Doll, went home to herother amily on Friday, January

    15, 2016, with her children andother amily members by herside. She was born January 9,1938, two miles west o Oswegoto Josephine (Schindler) Jackson and Wilson Jackson, shewas the ourth child born. She attended Frazer School. Merle worked at Glasgow Air Base, Ceta Program,Supervisor o NYC workers, painting with her brother-in-law, Joe Beston Sr., and then she retired to stay at homebeing a homemaker. She loved to ride horses in her younger years; on

    her mare named Goldie. She attended all the rodeos, sheenjoyed hunting, pow-wows and especially cruising withher grandchildren and nephews on the bottom countryroads. She married Dallas Howard Sr. and had three childrenorm this marriage; Dallas Jr., Joseph, and Jody. Tey laterdivorced. She then married Fletcher Jay Clampitt and hadtwo children, Fletcher and Frances Clampitt. Fletcherlater passed away and she then remained single raising herchildren. Merle is survived by her children; Dallas Howard Jr.,o Frazer, Montana, Jody Howard, whereabouts unknown,Fletcher (Donna) Clampitt o Frazer, Montana, Frances(Dooley) Clampitt o Frazer, Montana, Ray Clampitt oNashua, Montana, and Curt Jay Clampitt o Glasgow,Montana; her sisters, Susan (Henry) LaRoque o Frazer,Shari (Joe) Beston o Frazer, Cheryl Doney o Wiota,Montana, Rosalie Smoker o Frazer, Roxy MacDonald oFrazer; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews,cousins, and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Wilson and

    Josephine Jackson; her son, Joseph Wilson Howard; hergrandson, Dallas Howard III; great-granddaughter, JessicaKeiser; brothers, Maynard Jackson Sr. and Darrell JacksonSr.; sisters Pearl Bird, Farrell Strahs, and Marilyn Steele;brother-in-laws, Sidney Bird, Lonnie Steele Sr., and JohnDoney; nieces, nephews, cousins too many to list. Funeral service was held Monday, January 18, at FrazerHall with Father Martin officiating. Burial ollowed at St.Joseph Cemetery in Frazer. Merle was the most loving mother, aunt, grandmotherand riend, she will be missed by all that loved her.

    Margaret Unrau Margaret (Decker) Unrau, 95,o Glasgow passed away January 15,2016 at Frances Mahon DeaconessHospital. She was one o 12 children;six o them died in childhood.Margaret attended Lustre andFrazer schools, graduating in 1938.She was a proud to be a Frazer BearCubs All State basketball playerin 1937-1938. She liked to repeata statement made by the FrazerSchool Superintendent: Margaret, iyou play the game o lie as well asyou play the game o basketball, you

    will succeed. Margaret met her uture husband,oby Unrau, through his sister andher best riend Nellie Unrau. Teywere married on September 30,1939 in Frazer, Montana. Her lightblue taffeta street length dress andveil were made by her sister, Adina.It was during the depression so therewas no reception or honeymoon.

    For the next 7 years they movedaround to various old homesteads.In 1946 they bought a arm in theLustre area, a hal mile rom theUnrau homestead. During theseyears their our children were born.Tey moved back to Frazer in 1954and then to Lewistown, Montana in1955; staying there until 1965 whenthey moved to Delavan, Wisconsin. Margaret became employedoutside the home or the first timein September 1966; working in aactory caeteria. Four years latershe went to work packaging sportsequipment and worked there or

    12 years; retiring in 1982 whenshe moved to Glasgow. oby eltthat he was getting up in yearsand wanted Margaret to be withamily. Margaret thought that shehad retired, but in 1988 she wentto work in the laundry at the ValleyView Home; working until she was69 years old. Margaret was a member othe Evangelical Church and this

    was an important part o her lie.Troughout her lie she hosted manymissionaries and church speakers;providing a room and deliciousmeal. Tere are hundreds o namesin a guest book she kept up to date.Margaret was a natural homemaker;riends and amily elt welcomeand comortable in her home.Te Chicago Cubs were a avorite

    team o Margarets and she washappy when she had a baseball orbasketball game to watch. She was acompetitive Scrabble player; beatingher children and grandchildren ona regular basis. Margaret taught

    Rita was a very kind hearted, gentle, loving, caring,and giving woman. She was always helping others. Sheloved her daughters and was very proud o each one otheir accomplishments. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were treasures that were always keptclose to her heart. She loved spending time gettingtogether with her girls, grandchildren and great-grandchildren eating, laughing and taking selfies. Sheloved to laugh and tease. She was always burning one o

    her daughters or granddaughters with a joke. Her smilewas contagious and could light up a room. Althoughshe was in pain, she was always concerned about thecomort o others. She aithully attended church at the CansuskaPresbyterian Church in Frazer where she served asan Elder at her church that she loved. She was alwaysmaking sure to invite her brother, Dean Blount, to allo her dinners. Call Dean and have him come and eat.she would say. She also loved her traditional ways. She

    enjoyed participating inpow-wows, sweats, handgames, and sundances. She loved herFrazer Bearcubs and

    would travel all over inany kind o weather tosupport them. She will betremendously missed butwe rejoice knowing wewill see her again.     Kelly Archambeault On March 16, 1943, Sharon A. Kelly Archambeaultwas born to her parents, Marlene and Alton Neise.Marlene worked at the Hall Drug and Alton was a

    construction worker and area musician. He passed awayin the early 40s rom complications during surgery.Kelly was raised by Marlene and her stepather, LeroyKellogg, rom whom she inherited the nickname. Kelly passed away on January 14, 2016, at the age o72, rom cancer and Alzheimers disease. Kelly was born and raised in Glasgow. She graduatedwith honors rom Glasgow High School and with honorsrom the University o Montana, afer spending one yearat Montana State University. She earned her CPA in 1966and worked in Seattle, Washington or Haskins & Sells, a

    national accounting firm, in parts o 1965 and 1966. Kelly married Gerald . Buck Archambeault onSeptember 3, 1966, and they were blessed with twochildren, Michael o Glasgow and Nicole o Billings, andone grandchild, Reagan Severson, 10 years old. She issurvived by her husband, son, daughter and grandchildas well as nephews, Dr. Ben Wood, Dr. John Wood, Dr.Arthur Wood and Dr. David Wood, all living east o theMississippi River, and cousin, Marla Jan Dedobbeleer oGlasgow.

    Kelly was a lietime member o the First LutheranChurch in Glasgow. She actively participated in choirand Praise eam during her many years o churchattendance. She was employed at Sinclair Produce andthe City o Glasgow or many years as a bookkeeper.

    During her lietime, Kelly was on the board o

    directors o BlueCross/Blue Shieldo Montana, havingserved or over 20years. She was also

    a board memberand board presidento Frances MahonDeaconess Hospitaland a board membero the GlasgowSchool Board. Buckpresently practiceslaw at Helland Law Firm in Glasgow, specializing inestate planning and real estate.

    Kelly could be seen most mornings, or 25 years

    or more, walking up airport road and downtown withher good riend, Deloris Brown. Tey ormed a lie-longriendship that both always cherished. Kelly particularlyenjoyed the trips to the Hawaiian Islands with riendsand business associates, boating at Whitefish Lake andFort Peck Lake and doing the loop with her amily. Te amily would like to thank the caregiversat Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital, Valley ViewNursing Home and her many riends or their reflectionsthoughts and prayers.
