Days of the week
We visited Pizza Express where we were shown how pizzas are made.We then made our own pizza, which we baked and ate. Afterwards we had ice cream. After a very busy morning we came back to school tired but with full tummies.
Every week a child from each class will be chosen to be ‘The Star Of The Week’. The teachers will decide on which child has shown that they deserve recognition. Obviously, there are many children who could get star of the week every week. We always recognize them and praise them for their exemplary behavior. In time every child will receive a certificate.
Tips To Help At Home: Sing the song of the week at home.
Practice identifying initial sounds of words at home.
Support your child in writing their name.
In preparation for next weeks topic ‘JOBS’ please explain to your child what you do
for a living.
Reminders:!We are on holiday from Sunday the 1st of February to Thursday the 5th of February. Children are to be back at school on Sunday the 8th of February.
Have a restful week with your family. Thank you!
