The day of Sports day

“Oh come on Jenny” shouted Penny. As Jenny was trying to beat another little girl called

Lenny. And Jenny said “Hi Lenny.” And Lenny said hi to Jenny. “Penny this is Lenny.”

“She’s in year five.” Miss Bennett was their teacher. Miss Bennett was going to say who

would have the golden trophy. “And it’s for Lenny!” said Miss Bennett. “Well done Lenny”

cheered the girls in joy. And then there was a rattle in the trophy. And Lenny opened the lid

and there was a fluttering fairy inside it.

“Hello I’m Jane, who are you?” “Hello I’m

Lenny; I’ve got two friends called Jenny and

Penny.” Lenny ran to tell there was a fairy in

the trophy. “Look there’s a fairy!” The other

girls were surprised to see a fairy. “What’s her

name?” said Penny. “Her name is Jane” said Lenny. Then they went back to the classroom

to say some things to Lenny. “Shall I turn you into fairies to make it easier” Said Jane. “Yes

please” Said the girls.

When the girls were flying they made patterns in the air. When they got to fairyland they

met eleven other fairies called Florence the February Fairy, Mollie the March Fairy, Abigail

the April Fairy, Megan the May Fairy, Julie the June Fairy, Jessica the July Fairy, Annie the

August Fairy, Sophia the September Fairy, Olga the October Fairy, Natalie the November

Fairy and Daisy the December Fairy.

Having a visit in fairyland

The other girls were proud to see Florence, Mollie, Abigail, Megan, Julie, Jessica, Annie,

Sophia, Olga, Natalie and Daisy. “This is the last day of January” Said Jane. “Did you see

that” Said Jenny surprised. King Tom and Queen Sheena were very proud to see all three

girls. “January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October,

November and December” Said Penny. “Jane is that a goblin” Jenny said. And Jenny was

right and hid behind a bush. And she saw the green disgusting goblins. “We need to find my

January flag” Said Jane. “Ok” Lenny said.

The four friends watched the goblins took

the flags happily. “I’ll take the January flag

no I’ll take it you can do the February flag its

better than this one no it isn’t the February

flag is already taken” Said two goblins

arguing who would get the January flag.

And the goblins went into the human world to hide them. “Tell you what why don’t we go

into the human world to see where the goblins are hiding those flags” Said Jane as she used

her wand to make the girls back to humans.

The goblins have a head start

“Catch them catch them” Said Penny shouting very loud. “You can’t catch me you can’t

catch me” Said a goblin bursting out laughing. Jack Frost a bad fairy sent his goblin

servants to get all the flags and have fun with them. The four of them didn’t have time to

search they had to save the flags. And while they were running they saw a bridge and a lady

standing on it. “Hello if you want to go

over my bridge you have to say the pass

word”, said the lady. “Hmm trampoline”,

said Lenny.

“Well done, said the lady. How did you

know that?” And the girls crossed the

bridge and Jane following behind.

“Where are we” Said Penny. “I don’t

know” said Jenny. And they were in a stinky lunch box and did you know that someone two

sandwiches, one drink that was half empty, a milky bar and some crisps. “Disgusting” said

Lenny sniffing the air in the lunch box. As Penny was trying to push the lid open.

Meanwhile the goblins nearly got the flags to Jack Frost’s castle. The second time Penny

pushed the lid open it worked.

The girls catch the goblins up

The friends went out of the lunch box. And Lenny just saw a goblin a bit and she took a

closer look to see the two goblins walking into the ice castle. “Those girls will never catch

us up never ever”, said a goblin laughing. The friends were getting closer to the goblins.

And the goblins went out to play with the other goblins. “Oh, no!” said Jenny. And the

friends went tip towing into the ice castle. And the friends just saw the January flag on the

flag pole. And they heard Jack Frost coming and ran out of the ice castle. And Jack Frost

wondered who was at the door. And there was nobody at the door. “Phew”, said Lenny.

And Jack Frost was back to his work on his computer work. And Lenny tip towed very

quietly with not making a sound and Jack Frost rushed to see who was there and Lenny ran

as fast her legs could take her and she hid

behind a bush. The lady on the bridge went

home she was retiring and fell in water. And

the friends ran onto the bridge to see her

fall. And when they saw the lady fall

they heard a voice crying help. It was a

little girl called Poppy she was trapped in a trap and the

friends turned behind them and saw Poppy crying for so much help. Jack

Frost trapped her. The friends ran to save her and the friends couldn’t find a key and Jane

used her wand to get a key.

Get the flags away from the goblins

Poppy was happy to see her mum again and ran to her and hugged her. “Now we need to get

the flag” said Penny. Now Penny had a go of trying to get the flag. She was trying to be as

quiet as mice. And she all so heard Jack Frost and ran as fast to see and Penny was as fast as

a cheetah. And now it was Jenny’s turn to go to Jack Frost’s ice castle. And now it still

didn’t work. They all tried to get the flags but Jack Frost went to see who was there. But

there is a fairy that didn’t do it its Jane! And Jane fluttered into the ice castle and managed

to reach the last stair. Jane heard Jack Frost coming to her and fluttered out of the castle out

of the cold freezing door. “Did you get there?” said Jenny. “Nearly, I needed one more

stair”, Said Jane. And now they went back on the bridge and now there was only blue water

and the lady was all gone. Jane twirled her pretty skirt with joy. Jane looked very pretty

with a big smile on her face. “Where are we?” said Lenny. We are in a plant pot now” Said

Jenny. It was very tall and dirty. Now Lenny tried

one more time to get the flags but they were still

in the plant pot. Lucy a little girl was looking at

the lily and she looked puzzled. She saw three

girls but not Jane she didn’t notice her. And Lucy

ran to her mum there were three children in the

plant pot. And her mum went to look and she was

right there were three children in the plant pot.

Sneaking near the goblins

Carefully Lucy picked the girls up and Jane and they went back to normal size but Jane

staid her normal size. Now they were brave to go to Jack Frost’s ice castle. And Lenny went

in and saw the flag was gone it wasn’t there on the flag pole. And now it was Penny’s turn.

She saw a different flag pole and there was a flag but not a January one. Now it was Jenny’s

turn and she went to the last flag pole and you what it wasn’t there again. And when Jane

she didn’t find it she looked quietly in Jack Frost’s office. Now it happened again they were

off on an aeroplane this time but no passengers on board when they were eating they made a

right mess! How would they get out now? “Where are we now?” said Lenny. Jenny new an

aeroplane easy for her she new because they were flying she looked out of the window and

they were very high in the sky and above the clouds.

Did you no that all the people went to the toilet

squashed all in one toilet so that makes it no

passengers on board. Then Jane used her wand again

to get out of the aeroplane

and it worked they were back in the place where they

were. Jane saw the flag but still wasn’t the right flag

it was Jack Frost’s red triangle flag. And Jane peeked out of the wall and saw the flag!

Happy, happy January

Jenny, Penny and Lenny sneaked in and went through Jack Frost’s ice castle and went

outside and they saw it lying there and Lenny went to pick it up and put it in her pocket to

take to fairyland. “Thank you girls you saved my flag” Said Jane. And she turned the girls

into fairies again. And Jane got the calendar and flipped it to February. And when she

looked at February there was only a two on it and blew and blew and then there eight

appeared on the calendar but all the other numbers were gone one or six it was just twenty

eight. Lenny wasn’t sure how they would get the other flags for Florence, Mollie, Abigail,

Megan, Julie, Jessica, Annie, Sophia, Olga, Natalie and Daisy. Jane said it’ll be all right

because you can do it with the other fairies like you can do the March one with Mollie. As

Lenny was remembering what Jane said to Lenny and Jane turned the girls back to humans

when they got to Earth. And when Jane brought the girls back to Earth they were happy to

be there because they had never met a fairy before and they said bye to Jane they had a nice

time but not with the goblins and Jack Frost. The girls had a

great adventure. Jane was sad to leave the girls but she had to

go to fairy school she didn’t want to be late. Jane fluttered

back to fairyland and joined the other eleven fairies. Jane had

jam, Florence had a feast, Mollie had full marks in her work,

Abigail had an apple, Megan had muffins, Julie played with

her doll called ginger, Jessica played with a jigsaw, Annie was looking at the ants, Sophia

was planting a seed, Olga was looking at the orchard, Natalie needed help with her work

and Daisy had a daffodil. The girls were sad that Jane left but Penny was sure that we’ll see

her next time.
