EDUCATOR OPPORTUNITIESProcess + Product Art Field Trips Art Field trips for all grade levels. $6/student. The program consists of a one hour tour and one hour art activity led by a teaching artist. Students learn about the history of Artspace, the exhibiting artists and their work, and interact with studio artists. Educators may choose an individualized STEAM based project that relates to what their students are learning across the curriculum. REGIONAL EMERGING ARTISTS IN RESIDENCEStarting January 5, visit Julia Caston and Oami Powers in Studios 215 and 215A respectively. Caston creates installations and performance works and Powers will use her residency to explore both painting and fibers.
OPPORTUNITIES + SERVICESCall for Regional Emerging Artist Residency: July 2018–January 2019 | Deadline: March 30This 6-month residency provides two artists in the Southeastern US with the time and space to explore their work in a supportive and thriving artistic environment.
