has taken applications of voltage controlled

oscillator used in industry. Around 130 students

The department of MCA, GHRCE, Nagpur

organized guest lecture on 21/1/2017 by Industry

Expert Mr. Vedprakash Barliya, Team Lead, Big V

Telecom incubate by Tata Elxsi.

Mr. Vedprakash Barliya delivered his expertise

lecture on „Windows Azure Platform‟. He also

introduced the project development systems using

mobile technology and program structure. He also

briefed students on how to handle the clients

during his speech.

He suggested the students to work on mobile

computing and cloud computing technologies as

these are the demanding technologies in today‟s IT

Sector.

Students, Nagpur

Internship drive for MCA IV Semester students

was organized by MCA department ,GHRCE,

Nagpur on 28-01-2017. Hind Software Pvt. Ltd.,

Nagpur visited department MCA department for

internship drive. The company was work on Web

technology, Mobile technology and latest trends in

IT sectors.

Four students out of 32 students were selected after

technical interview and aptitude test.

Organized One Day Workshop on Brain or Human

Machine Interface under COE BMI & HMI with

students forum Zenith & IEEE student branch on

15 February 2017. Around 45 students from ETRX

& IT department participated in the workshop.

Workshop started at 10AM with Introduction to

BMI & HMI by Dr. S. D. Giripunje which is

followed by theory sessions in the same area by

Prof. N. P. Wyavahare, Prof. R. S. Agrawal & Prof.

T. G. Deotale. In afternoon Session Hands on

Matlab based development tool with case study,

LabView & on controller / EEG based system

development was given to students by Prof. S. N.

Joshi, Prof. P. M. Ghutke & Prof. S. V. Bhalerao.

Students had participated enthusiastically in the

workshop & had discussion on various topics

related to their project in this area. Workshop was

coordinated by Prof S. N. Joshi & Dr. S. D.

Giripunje under guidance of Dr. S. S. Dorle

TECHNICAL ACTIVITIES

Industry visit and day out organized

for GHRCE, MCA students

An industry visit was organized for MCA II /IV

semester students at SuryaLaxmi Cotton Mills,

Ramtek on 02/01/2017. As the company was

related to management subjects, students first

visited the company. There they learned a lot

related to financial issues and other business

process domains. Then we all proceeded for a day

out at Khindsi and enjoyed a lot.

All the staff and students were pleased after visiting

the company and a day out at Khindasi.

Everybody expressed gratitude for the respected

Director madam for availing such a great

opportunity.

Pvt.Ltd., Pune was visited for internship drive on

13-Feb-2017.

Company HR Mis. Rutika Channewar, started the

drive processing by introducing company‟s

working culture and elaborated the technologies on

which company is working.

After aptitude test , technical test and technical

interviews , total six students finally get selected

for internship and will join the company in the

month of May,2017.

To make this event successful, HOD of MCA

(CS, FIFA, NFS)

G. H. Raisoni College of Engineering organized

“LAN GAMING” event under the banner of

Antaragni & Technorion 2K17 on 20th

Feburary

2017 at 10:30 am in C-03 ,C-06 & D-19 .

In LAN Gaming Competition 3 games NFS, FIFA

& CS were played by the participants outside the

GHRCE & students of GHRCE. Total 167 students

participated in the Event. Dr. Nagarnaik & Dr. Jaju

Visited the Event .They encourages the students &

congratulates the student coordinators for making

LAN Gaming event a grand success. This activity

is coordinated by CSE Department Students Jatin

Chawda, Kalpak Chepurwar, Rohit Kurzekar under

Department of Electrical Engineering has

organized parents teachers meet on January 7, 2017

for the concern of academic performance. In the

meeting following parameters were discussed.

1) CBCS Scheme awareness

2) CTS Scheme

20 students having attendance less than 50% out of

which 06 parents reported to the meeting

Daigavane confronted with parents about choice

based credit system. Total 06 parents reported for

the meeting. Parents appreciated for calling them in

advance and parents promised to improve the
