Used Soccer Gear/Equipment Donations are still

being accepted at HFC (please place in red bin). Our

most recent donations were: ……10 pairs of soccer

cleats, 30 soccer balls, 4 soccer jersey’s, 3 pairs of soccer

shorts, 3 pairs of shin guards and other misc. items.

HFC’s Annual Silent Auction Dinner

We are preparing for our Annual Silent Auction Dinner,

which will be held at Ruth Chris Restaurant. Part of this

preparation will be collecting donations for our auction.

Last year teams collected money and items for themed

baskets to auction off. These baskets were a huge hit and

sold for $100-$275 each. Just from the baskets, HFC

raised $1,590.00. This year HFC is asking that every

team put together a basket, it doesn't have to be

expensive or require a lot from parents. Please note that

this fundraiser is very important to HFC both socially and

financially.

Club Fee Balances should be paid in full by March 1, unless

other arrangements have been made with the HFC Board at

the beginning of the season!

Club fee checks can be dropped in the grey drop box inside

the club facility, next to the office.

DOC Remarks,

As we get ready to kick off our 2012 spring soccer

season, I am continually reminded why I have the best job

in the world for youth soccer. Being the DOC at Hoosier

FC is very rewarding yes, but the opportunity to put

together a quality coaching staff for HFC children, and

being able to develop a soccer club that continues to grow

and achieve success is a thrill for me. I am honored to

have the opportunity to get to know all of the great

players and families of HFC . Thanks for making this a

special place and I look forward to continuing to serve

your families and helping to develop the player’s into fine

young soccer talent.

HFC DAYTON WARRIOR CLUB TOURNAMENT

May 25, 26, 27 & 28, 2012 All HFC Club Teams will be playing in the

Dayton, Ohio - Warrior Soccer Tournament

There are several HFC volunteers working very hard on HFC club events and making sure that everyone has a fun and exciting weekend. For instance there will be a hospitality room for our clubs use for the weekend. There are plans to have a tournament breakfast (foods) for all of the HFC teams player’s and coach’s. Our DOC has also reserved some tickets, and a special seating area for the Columbus Crew game. More information on the weekend’s events and how to purchase tickets will be forth coming. Make sure to mark your calendars now, since this is also Memorial Weekend.

Check to make sure all new players have their uniforms

by March 1st.

Make sure player’s are wearing the correct training gear:

Grey T-shirt, Black Socks, Black Shorts, and HFC Warm-

HFC FIELD EXPANSION 2012 has a lot of exciting things on the horizon

for HFC……

The first time in HFC’s club history we have over

300 registered players in the HFC . We are very

excited about the growth and the direction of

HFC…but with membership growth - we also have

a need for more field space. We are currently out

of field space. So, it is now imperative to move

swiftly with the development of 10 acres of

grounds extension that is directly west of the

current HFC fields. These additional fields will give

us a great advantage for additional training and

games space. In the near future, the Board plans

on presenting a plan on how and where to get the

extra field expansion funds.
