Current events

You should have info AND a reaction to at least 1 current event To make sure everyone is getting the information they need, if

you plan to share a current event (which I will start keeping track of and award points) will need to stand at your table and share your event.

Its 1953, and the TV is a novelty. Sen. Joseph McCarthy uses fear, falsehoods and belligerence to become arguably the most powerful man in the U.S.

Newsman Edward R. Murrow, who has had his fill of the senator’s tactics, fights back.

Watch carefully- you will have a couple different tasks to complete that go along with the movie!
