Mid-Point shot- This mid-point shot of Jamie –T standing beside that of a clown, is use of ‘Andrew Goodwin’s’ forms as conventions. This particular image could be used to represent the humour and comical aspect of Jamie T’s lyrics. It could also, be a further representation of his star iconography, as a ‘joker’, and a representative of youth, laddish culture.

Jamie T- Sticks and stones Analog Performance- The basis of Jamie T’s music video for the single ‘sticks and stones’ revolves around an analog narrative (Steve Jones ‘cohesive but not coherent’) the term ‘analog narrative’ means a non-concert performance, intercut with other material.

Establishing –Shot- This establishing shot of Jamie standing in front of a London train platform. This again abides by Andrew Goodwin’s forms and conventions, as it illustrates a link between the lyrics, and visuals. Also, Jamie T’s music videos display a constant link between himself and his urban background, the videos tend to avoid the glitz and the glamour of R’N’B genre, fixate on real life situations. Again, this urban background may reinforce his image as an artist of the working class people. This is extremely important, as the artist himself cannot be accused of ‘selling out’ or becoming a victim of the mainstream, despite his single’s and albums appearing within the UK’s Official Top 40.

Low-angle-long shot- This rather strange choice of a ‘low angle long shot’ is generally used to enforce the character’s presence on the screen. As displayed in this screen grab, the director has chosen for Jamie T and his band mates to be shown throwing objects at the camera (which I imagine is covered by a plastic screen) this particular action is again used in which to create a star iconography , representing the artists rebellious nature and actions.
