James T. Kirk Spock Spock Prime Nero Christopher Pike Leonard McCoy Nyota Uhura Montgomery Scott Hikaru Sulu Pavel Chekov SarekAfter witnessing the destruction of his home planet, Romulus in 2387, Nero sets in place a chain of events that will permanently alter the timeline of the Star Trek Universe, leading to the creation of an alternate reality, that deviates from the Prime Reality of the Star Trek Canon.

2387 - Nero loses his wife and unborn child during the destruction of Romulus in a supernova. Witnesses the tragedy while off-planet.

2387 - Grief-stricken and seeking revenge, Nero places the blame for Romulus's demise on Ambassador Spock, who had promised to prevent the disaster. Aditionally, he blamed the Federation as a whole, who he accused of standing idle while Romulus perished.

2387 - Spock, piloting his trademark ship the Jellyfish, absorbs the supernova with the use of Red Matter, creating a black hole. Before he could escape, Spock is intercepted by Nero, in command of the Romulan mining vessel the Narada. Both ships are pulled into the Black Hole, the Narada entering first.

2387 - Nero intercepts Spock's escape from the ensuing black hole while in command of the technologically advanced Romulan mining vessel, the Narada. The Narada is pulled into the Singularity first.

2222 - Montgomery Scott is born in Scotland.

Spock Prime and the Romulans get Matthew McConaughey'd

2227 - Leonard McCoy is born in Georgia, USA, Earth.

2230 - Spock is born on Vulcan to Sarek, Vulcan ambassador to Earth and Amanda Grayson, a human. Spock's birth takes place prior to Nero's time incursion, and therefore before the timelines diverge from oneanother, so this event takes place for both Spock Prime and the Spock of this timeline.

2233.04 - The Narada emerges from the singularity 154 years in the past, not far from the Federation-Klingon border. Here, it encounters and attacks the USS Kelvin. Seeking Spock's wherabouts, Nero orders Ayel to contact the USS Kelvin's commanding officer and demand he come aboard for "negotiations."

2233.04 - Questions Captain Richard Robau about Spock's wherabouts, but Robau is unfamiliar with the name. When Robau informs Nero of the current stardate, Nero becomes angered at the realisation he is stranded in the past and kills Robau in a fit of rage.

2233.04 -Born in the USS Kelvin's medical shuttle no. 37, in the midst of the Narada's attack.

2233.04 - Nero launches a second attack on the USS Kelvin, now under the command of George Kirk. Kirk used the Kelvin's weapons to prevent Nero from destroying the escape shuttles. The Narada was rammed by the USS Kelvin, and was temporarily disabled although not entirely destroyed.

Sometime after 2233, Pike wrote a dissertation on the USS Kelvin and the actions of its final commanding officer, George Kirk.

2233 - 2245 -James was raised in Iowa, North America by his mother and stepfather. In his youth he had little sense of purpose and often found himself on the wrong side of the law.

2240s -In his youth, Spock was subject to severe bullying and abuse from his peers, largely pertaining to his Human ancestry.

2241 - Pavel Chekov is born in Russia.

2245 -Demonstrating a rebellious streak, he recklessly steals and crashes his stepfather's 1965 Chevy Corvette into a quarry following a high-speed chase with local authorities.

2240's - During one incident, three of his classmates accused his father of being a traitor for marrying "that human whore." Spock lost control of his emotions and violently attacked one in an extreme fit of rage. Spock cited that this was the 35th time that they had attempted to elicit an emotional response from him.

2240's - Spock spoke to his father, Sarek about the encounter, asking why his father had made the choice to marry a Human. Sarek remarks coldly that it was simply a logical choice, given that he was an ambassador of Vulcan to Earth. He lectures Spock on how Vulcans must turn to logic in times of adversity. Thier ability to do so readily is often what sets them apart from humanity.

After completing the advanced training which he began during childhood in the Vulcan Learning Center, Spock applied to both the Vulcan Science Academy and Starfleet Academy. He was also considering completing his training in the kolinahr – the Vulcan ritual of purging all vestigial emotions – and asked his mother whether she would think less of him for discarding emotion in that way. His mother simply remarked that she would always be proud of him, no matter what choices he

Sometime prior to 2255, McCoy became a certified doctor and was at one point married, but navigated a harsh divorce. With nowhere else to go, McCoy resolves to enlist in Starfleet.

Montgomery Scott was engaged in a debate with his instructor on the issue of relativistic physics and how it pertains to subspace travel. The professor was of the opinion that the range of a transporter was limited to a few hundred kilometers; Scotty felt that he could beam a lifeform from one planet to the next within a star system. His theory, however, had never been tested. As he was experimenting with his theory of transwarp beaming, he used Jonathan Archer's beagle as a test

2250's - Years later, Sarek served on the panel that accepted Spock to the Vulcan Science Academy. When another Vulcan on the panel insulted Spock about his mother, Spock declined the offer of admission. Sarek was shocked, sternly telling his son he had made a commitment to honor the Vulcan way.

He later was admitted to the Vulcan Science Academy, but declined the offer after the board remarked that his admission to the Academy was especially commendable considering his "disadvantage" of being half-Human.

2254 - Spock went on to attend Starfleet Academy, and would come to be known as one of its most distinguished graduates. In 2254, He first programmed the Kobayashi Maru. he purpose of which was to allow cadets to experience fear in the face of death, and in confronting it, develop skills necessary for command

2255 - During a scene at the Riverside bar, flirts with Nyota Uhura while inebrieted. Is engaged in a bar fight with three male Starfleet cadets, including Hendorff. Is implored by Christopher Pike to enlist in Starfleet Academy.

2255 - He had attained the rank of commander, and acted as an instructor at the Spock had established a strong working relationship with Cadet Nyota Uhura.

2255 -Breaks up the fight bewteen the cadets. It is revealed he wrote his dissertation on the USS Kelvin. He calls Kirk "the only genius level repeat offender in the Midwest". He pushes Kirk to challenge himself and fulfil his potential, persuading him to join Starfleet, citing George Kirk's bravery, daring James Kirk to do better.

2255 -At a bar near the Riverside Shipyard in Iowa, Nyota Uhura meets a rather inebriated James Kirk, who attempts to flirt with her. Although frustrated by his advances, Uhura was surprised by Kirk's knowledge of what was involved in the study of Xenolinguistics. This exchange then lead to a brawl fight when four male Cadets were displeased with the attention Kirk was giving Uhura.

2255 -Decides to enlist in Starfleet Academy. Details his intent to complete Academy training in three years. Embarks upon the military shuttle Bardeen at the Riverside Shipyard. Befriends Leonard McCoy. The two share alchohol as the shuttle leaves for Starfleet Academy.

2255 - Pike was present on the Bardeen military shuttle, bringing new recruits to the Starfleet Academy.

2255 - McCoy is present on the Bardeen shuttle for new Starfleet recruits, appearing ill at ease. It appears he has a "fear of dying in something that flies!" and attempts to hide in the shuttle's bathroom for the duration of the flight. After being discovered by a flight officer, he is sat next to James T. Kirk. Kirk assures McCoy of the shuttle's safety, to no avail. McCoy confides that he joined Starfleet because his wife" took the whole damn planet in the divorce." and "all I have left are my bones." The pair

During her time at Starfleet Academy, she specialised in the study of Xenolinguistics with the goal of becoming a communications officer. Spock served as one of Uhura's instructors during her study and described her performance to be exemplary at a consistent rate.

Spock went on to attend Starfleet Academy, and came to be known as one of its most distinguished graduates. By 2258, he had attained the rank of commander, and acted as an instructor at the Academy.

Nero was involved in an incident in the vicinity of a Klingon Prison Planet towards the end of his 25 year wait for Spock's emergence from the Black hole.He destroys 47 Klingon Warbirds.

2257 -Scott was sent to the Federation outpost on Delta Vega with his colleague, Keenser six months before the destruction of Vulcan.

2258 - Fails the Kobayashi Maru examination for the second time. Undeterred, he decides to take it a third time. Ends up in the dormitary of Gaila. Is caught and hides under the bed when her roommate Uhura arrives unexpectedly, who on discovering him throws him out.

2258 - Spock emerged from the black hole in the year 2258 of an alternate reality created by Nero's temporal incursion who had emerged twenty-five years earlier. Nero was waiting for Spock when he arrived, and he was captured. Rather than kill Spock, Nero marooned him on Delta Vega, where he could witness the impending destruction of Vulcan from the planet's surface.

2258 - When Spock arrives through the black hole, Nero is waiting for him. He captures the Jellyfish and its Red Matter cargo. Nero maroons Spock Prime on Delta vega so that he can witness the impending destruction of Vulcan.

2258 - Became close friends with James T. Kirk at the Academy. McCoy berates Kirk for wanting to make a third attempt at the Kobayashi Maru, calling him mad. Appears to have adopted the nickname Bones in relation to his previous statemet.

2258 - Uhura managed to detect and translate a Klingon message indicating that a fleet of 47 Klingon vessels surrounding the Klingon Prison Planet were engaged and destroyed by a Romulan ship. Returning home early that night, interupting her roommate Gaila, and Kirk, who had been under the bed at the time she had shared the information with Gaila.

2258 - Pavel Andreievich Chekov was a child prodigy and a Starfleet ensign for the Federation, assigned as a navigator to the USS Enterprise in 2258, at the age of 17.

2258 - Kirk cheats the Kobayashi Maru simulation, reprogramming the simulation in order to make it possible to win, baffling the sim crew and bringing him to the attention of Commander Spock.

2258 -Commander Spock, who programmed the Kobayashi Maru, has his "no-win scenario" beaten by James T. Kirk. When James T. Kirk was ultimately able to pass the test and defeat the scenario, Spock accused the cadet of inserting a subroutine into the program, changing the simulation to his favor, so he could win. At a hearing of the Academy board, Kirk asked for the right to confront Spock directly, and the two clashed over Kirk's actions.

2258 - McCoy takes part in Kirk's third run of the Kobayashi Maru sim as requested, serving at the helm. McCoy seems surprised that Kirk suceeds, having failed twice.

2258 - Uhura is present as communication's officer of Kirk's third attempt at the Kobayashi Maru by his request. She sarcastically calls him Captain.

2258 - Is brought before the Starfleet board on accusation of cheating. Kirk argues that the test itself is a cheat, stating he doesn't believe in no-win scenarios. He asks to face his accuser. This is the first encounter between Spock and Kirk and is one of conflict. The two engage in a heated argument. Kirk becomes particularly agitated when Spock suggests that "of all people", George's son should recognize the no-win scenario. The trial is interuppted with a distress call from Vulcan.

2258 - The hearing was cut short by the receipt of a distress call from Vulcan, and Spock reported to the USS Enterprise as first officer under Captain Christopher Pike. En route to Vulcan, Spock once again clashed with Kirk, who had come aboard the Enterprise without authorization.

2258 - Following the Vulcan distress call, Pike is assigned to command the Federation's flagship, the USS Enterprise, on her maiden voyage. Pike leads a starfleet tasforce to aid in the evacuation of the planet.

2258 - McCoy is among the cadets in attendance at the Academy hearing when the academy's ruling council accused Kirk of cheating. McCoy watched as his friend Kirk faced off in front of Commander Spock, who programmed the Kobayashi Maru test. Following the abrupt interuption of the hearing by the vulcan distress signal,In response to Kirk's "Who was that pointy eared bastard?", McCoy responds "I don't know, but I like him."

2258 - Uhura is among the cadets in attendance at Kirk's Hearing, seated in the same row as Commander Spock and Gaila.

2258 - Suspended due to academic dishonesty. Smuggled onto the Enterprise as a stowaway by Bones.2258 -Is administered with a vaccine by Bones that temporarily renders him ill so that he can be transported to the ship on medical grounds.

2258 - Spock was in charge of starship assignments for the cadets. He initially assigned Lieutenant Nyota Uhura to the USS Farragut, in spite of Uhura's stated desire to serve aboard the USS Enterprise, the new flagship. Wanted to avoid displays of favouritism. The two are later revealed to be romantically involved.

2258 - Following the distress beacon, McCoy is assigned to the newly commissioned federation flagship, the USS Enterprise, on its maiden voyage. McCoy decides to smuggle his friend aboard the Enterprise. To do so, he injects Kirk with a Melvaran mud fleas vaccine, which causes kirk to experience the symptoms of the inflection, allowing McCoy to smuggle Kirk on board as a patient.

2258 - Spock was in charge of starship deployment assignments for the cadets of Uhura's graduating class. Uhura was initially assigned to the USS Farragut, despite desiring a placement on the USS Enterprise. Spock was concerned that assigning her to the enterprise would show favouritism. Uhura confronts him, noting her capability, and eventually Spock relents.

2258 - Chekov was the navigator assigned to the Enterprise during her impromptu maiden voyage - an emergency mission to protect the planet Vulcan from attack by the time travelling war criminal, Nero.

2258 -In the med bay, despite a severe allergic reaction to the vaccine, he connects the emergence of the lightning storm with the events preceding the USS Kelvin's destruction in 2233.

2258 - McCoy brings Kirk to the Enterprise's medical bay and sedates him. Kirk awoke as the Enterprise neared Vulcan, but Bones was horrified to find that Kirk had suffered an allergic reaction to the vaccine, causing him to have extremely swolen hands.

2258 - Sulu took over at the helm of the USS Enterprise because the originally-assigned helmsmen, McKenna, was ill with lungworm. As the fleet went to warp on its maiden voyage, Sulu forgot to disengage the external inertial dampener, leaving the Enterprise in Earth orbit for several moments as the rest of the fleet jumped away. Though embarrassing, the extra time afforded by this delay caused the Enterprise to enter the Vulcan system after Nero's assault had destroyed the rest of the fleet, likely saving the

2258 - Departing Earth's Starbase 1, Captain Christopher Pike addressed Chekov as "Russian whiz-kid", ordering the ensign to use the comm to brief the Enterprise crew on the task at hand.

2258 - Kirk is preoccupied with the notion that the Enterprise was headed into a trap set by Nero, having deduced this after hearing Ensign Pavel Chekov's intercom announcement. He runs through the ship to find Uhura to confirm his theory. He then runs to warn Pike.

2258 - En route to Vulcan, Spock once again clashed with Kirk, who had come aboard the Enterprise without authorization. Over Kirk's arguments that the distress call from Vulcan was the result of an attack by Romulans, Spock demanded that Kirk be removed from the bridge. Kirk's claims are proven to be true when the crew reaches Vulcan.

2258 - "Prepare the Red Matter. Tell me when we reach core depth." Now in possession of the Red Matter, he uses the Narada's drill to burrow to Vulcan's core, intending to collapse the planet with the ensuing singularity.

2258 - McCoy chases Kirk through the ship, injecting him with various medications. He and Uhura run after the seemingly delusional Kirk when he runs to warn Pike of the apparent impending Romulan trap. McCoy attempts to eplain to Pike the reason for Kirk's presense, but kirk is ultimately able to convince Pike anyway.

2258 - Uhura is approached by Kirk after he deduces that the lightning storm anomaly is indicative of Nero's trap, indicative of the events that preceded his birth. She accompanies Kirk to the bridge.

2258 -Attempts to warn Pike about Nero's trap with the help of Uhura and Bones.

2258 - The federation fleet consisting of 7 starships arrives to assist Vulcan. Nero, in posssession of a highly technically advanced ship from the future, destroys them with ease. A new federation vessel appears, which Nero orders an attack on.

2258 - Receptive of Kirk's warning about Nero, under his command the crew encounters the Romulan Narada. Pike is the first to command the Enterprise in its combat situation, before electing to take a shuttle to the Narada at the demand of its captain, Nero.

2258 - Uhura verifies Kirk's claims to Captain Pike by mentioning that she was the one who translated and intercepted the report of a similar Romulan vessel in Klingon space.

2258 -Kirk is appointed acting first officer under spock and is volunteered by Pike to disable the Narada's drill platform.

2258 - When contact was established with the ship's captain, Nero, he appeared to know Spock, although Spock had never met the Romulan before. Pike, who was ordered to transport himself to the Narada, left Spock in charge as acting captain.

2258 - Nero uses the red matter obtained from the Jellyfish to create a black hole in Vulcan's planetary core; Spock watched helplessly from Delta Vega as his homeworld was destroyed.

2258 - Nero recognises the Enterprise as the vessel Spock had previously served on. 2258 - "Prepare the Red Matter. Tell me when we reach core depth." Now in possession of the Red Matter, he uses the Narada's drill to burrow to Vulcan's core. He propositions Pike to board the Nerada for 'negotiations.'

2258 - Pike deploys James. T Kirk, Hikaru Sulu and Chief Engineer Olson to disable the Romulan Drill platform. He promotes Commander Spock to acting captain and Kirk to acting first officer.

2258 - Doctor Purl, the Enterprise's chief medical officer is killed by Romulan missiles. McCoy assumes his position, and is later officially appointed by Spock as chief medical officer of the USS Enterprise.

2258 - Captain Pike promotes Uhura to communications officer as Lieutenant Hawkins, the prior communications officer, was unsure that he could distinguish the various Romulan dialects from the Vulcan transmissions. Uhura, in contrast, revealed herself to be fluent in all three.

2258 -Skydives onto platform with Olson and Hikaru Sulu. Fight off Romulans and destroy platform, but not in time to stop Nero from completing his plan to initiate the drill and destroy Vulcan.

2258 - Following the disabling of the Narada's drill platform, Nero launched the red matter into Vulcan's core, causing the formation of a black hole which would devour the planet. Judging from their "black hole" technology, Spock reasoned with the best of Vulcan rationality that the Narada must have traveled back in time from the future.

2258 - Sulu participated in a space-dive along with James T. Kirk and Chief Engineer Olson to disable Nero's drilling rig as it drilled to the core of Vulcan. He was a skilled fencer and used his training in Hand-to-hand combat and a retractable sword to fight Romulans on the drilling platform, saving Kirk from a potentially fatal attack by one of the Romulans. Subsequently, Kirk endeavored to return the favor, diving into a free fall to save a falling Sulu.

2258 - Nero commits mass genocide. Kirk and Sulu were successful in sabotaging the drill, but not before Vulcan's core was breached. Nero released a canister of red matter into the planet's core, creating a black hole at the center of Vulcan which devoured the planet and killed the vast majority of the Vulcan race, as well as Spock's mother. The number of remaining Vulcans was estimated to be less than 10,000.

2258 -Beamed back to the Enterprise.

2258 - Realizing that not much time was left to save his planet, Spock beamed to the surface to at least rescue the Vulcan Council, including his father and mother. As the survivors were about to be beamed aboard the Enterprise, the disintegrating surface on the planet collapsed beneath Spock's mother before the transport could be completed and she died. She was one of almost six billion killed with the loss of the planet.

2258 - As the Enterprise confronted Nero, Chekov used his superior mathematical skills to calculate the coordinates for beaming faster than the computer - allowing him to personally transport James T. Kirk and Hikaru Sulu back aboard the Enterprise before they fell into the singularity created on Vulcan by Nero.

2258 - Sees to the injuries of the Vulcan survivors and tends to the injuries sustained by Kirk during the drill platform jump.

2258 - Remaining in the transporter room, Chekov also transported Spock, Sarek and the surviving members of the Vulcan High Council from the surface of Vulcan. He was, however, unable to save Spock's mother, Amanda Grayson, before she fell to her death.

2258 - Sarek was still on Vulcan when Nero dropped red matter into the planet's core, creating a black hole in the center of the planet. Spock beamed to the surface to rescue Sarek, Amanda, and the rest of the Vulcan Council. Sarek and two other members of the Vulcan Council made it to safety, but Sarek's wife, Amanda, was killed just before they were beamed off the planet.

2258 - Struggling with the loss of his world and the death of his mother, Spock received comfort from Uhura, whom he was secretly romantically involved with, and returned her embrace.

2258 - After the destruction of Vulcan and the death of Spock's mother, Uhura privately comforts spock in the elevator, and their romantic relationship is revealed to the audience.

2258 - Pike is tortured by Nero and his second in command, Ayel. He refuses to give them information regarding the codes for Earth's planetary defense system. Although he resists at first, Pike is subdued by the use of the Centaurian Slug, forcing him to reveal the information to Nero.

6

2258 -Attempts to persuade Spock to pursue the Narada to Earth. Spock declines. Argument grows particularly heated. Spock knocks Kirk unconsious and orders his removal from the ship via escape pod.

2258 - After deciding to take the Enterprise to the Laurentian system to rendezvous with the rest of the fleet, and engaging in a furious debate with Kirk which led to him employing the Vulcan nerve pinch on the Kirk, Spock ordered Kirk to be thrown off the ship, jettisoning him in an escape pod near Delta Vega.

2258 - Nero sets course for Earth with the intention to destroy it, now with access to the Starfleet defense codes.

2258 - McCoy sides with Spock's decision to rendevous with the rest of the Federation fleet in the Laurentian System before pursuing the Narada. McCoy witnesses Kirk's attempted and failed mutiny.

2258 -Is marooned on Delta Vega, kilometers away from the nearest Starfleet outpost. Chased by multiple Indigenous creatures.

2258 -"Are you outta your Vulcan mind?" McCoy voices his displeasure with acting capting Spock's decision to maroon Kirk on Delta Vega. McCoy, infuriated, refers to Spock as a "green-blodded hobgoblin."

2258 -Fled into a nearby cave, where Spock from a future timeline scares the creature away. Initially dismisses Spock Prime's claims as "bullshit" but changes his mind when Spock Prime demonstrates his knowledge of Nero.

2258 - Spock rescues James T. Kirk, who had been marooned on the planet by that era's Spock for mutiny. Expresses surprise that Kirk is not captain of the Enterprise. He uses his signature mind-meld technique to dispel Kirk's disbelief about his identity.Protects James T. Kirk from an indigenous creature. Performs a mind meld on James. Demonstrates knowledge of Nero's plot and details his and Kirk's friendship in another timeline.

Arrival at Federation Outpost

2258 - Travels with Spock Prime to the Federation Outpost. Meets Montgomery Scott. Is advised by Spock who states that the only way to defeat Nero was for Jim to take command of the USS Enterprise himself.

2258 -Travels with James to the Federation Outpost. Recognises Montgomery Scott, who in his timeline devised a method of beaming onto a ship at warp speeds. Gives Scott his own equations a century ahead of schedule. Quoting Starfleet regulation 619, advises Jim to elicit an emotional reaction from the young spock rendering him unfit for command. When asked why can't accompany them, he says that if his other self was made aware of his existance a temporal paradox would ensure.

2258 - Keenser brought him two visitors, James T. Kirk and Spock, who Scotty believed were sent by Starfleet to supply him.Spock helped Scott fix this transport problem by giving him the finished version of the governing equation "his" Scotty – a longtime friend from his own future timeline – had completed in the future. The final detail Scott needed was to construct the equations from the perspective that outer space itself, not the ships, was moving. Using the new calculations, Kirk and Scott were

2258 - Is beamed onto the ship along with Scott, although their presence does not go unnoticed.

2258 - With the Enterprise now at warp, Spock was surprised when Kirk and Montgomery Scott were able to beam aboard the ship, and demanded to know how they had been able to transport during warp. Kirk, who had by now met with Spock Prime, was told to sufficiently provoke Spock in order to show everyone that he was too emotionally compromised to be in command.

2258 - Scott is successfully beamed onto the ship, but ends up in a water conduit and almost drowns before being rescued by Kirk.

Onboard the Enterprise

2258 -Goads Spock with insults, implying that Spock didn’t care for Vulcan's demise or his mother's death whom he accuses Spock of never having loved her, a remark that causes Spock to violently attack Kirk before Sarek steps in.

2258- Relinquishes command of the USS Enterprise, citing Starfleet regulation 619. Kirk made several unsuccessful attempts to insult and cajole Spock, until finally a jibe about whether Spock had loved his mother who was murdered, made the Vulcan snap, attacking Kirk and coming extremely close to killing him. He was only stopped by his father, and Spock immediately stepped down from command, ordering McCoy to note it in the ship's log.

2258 - Spock reports to McCoy that he is emotionally compromse and thus resigns his command of the USS Enterprise.

Saturn.

2258 -As acting first officer, Kirk takes command of the USS Enterprise and orders the pursuit of the Narada.

2258 - Returning to the transporter room, Spock was comforted by the words of his father, Sarek, who admitted that he actually had married Amanda because he loved her.

2258 - In spite of his obvious support of Kirk, McCoy is incredulous when Kirk becomes acting captain, sayng "You've ogtta be kidding me!" When Kirk takes his seat in the captain's chair. McCoy reacts similarly in response to Chekov's plan for beaming Kirk and Spock onto the Narada and when he reveals his age as only 17.

2258 - When Spock relinquishes command of the Enterprise, Nyota approaches Kirk in the captains chair and tells him "I hope you know what you’re doing." She appears visibly concerned for Spock, although hopeful that Kirk's plan will succeed.

2258 - Having been present when Pike appointed Kirk first officer, Sulu pointed out it was Kirk's right to sit in the command chair.

2258 - Sarek helps comfort Spock after the death of his mother, saying that he should not try to contain his anger, which he knew was exactly what she would've said in that situation. Recalling his response to the question raised by a bloody-lipped adolescent years earlier – that he thought it logical to marry her – he now told Spock that he did indeed love her.

2258 - Is beamed onto the Narada with Spock, engaging in a firefight with the Romulans.

2258 - With the command crew debating how to beam aboard the Narada without being detected, Spock returned to duty, and endorsed Pavel Chekov's plan to hide the Enterprise near Saturn's moon Titan. He then volunteered to beam to the Narada, noting that the similarities between Romulan and Vulcan language and culture would help him in determining the location of Captain Pike and determine a way to destroy the vessel. Kirk, now in command, agreed, and accompanied Spock aboard the

2258 - Uhura shares a tender goodbye kiss with Spock, who calls her by her first name, Nyota, revealing their relationship in the presence of Kirk and Montgomery Scott. Kirk, who had previously attempted to learn her first name for years to no avail, asked Spock if Nyota was her first name. Spock simply responded "I have no comment on the matter."

2258 - During the battle for Earth, Sulu carefully maneuvered the Enterprise into Saturn's orbit, where the planet's magnetic rings would shield the ship from the Narada's sensors. He sped the Enterprise after the Romulan vessel when it left the Sol system in pursuit of the Jellyfish, firing all the phaser banks to disarm its missiles.

2258 - After the destruction of Vulcan, Chekov devised a way to beam Kirk and Commander Spock to the Narada, without Nero knowing the Enterprise was in proximity to his ship. Chekov's plan required the Enterprise to drop out of warp] near Titan, one of Saturn's moons, which hid the obscured the ship from the Romulans' sensors, allowing Kirk and Spock to successfully beam over undetected. Chekov's plan was ultimately instrumental in saving Earth.

2258 -The pair make it to the Jellyfish, Spock Prime's ship. He leaves Spock to secure the ship while he goes to retrieve Captain Pike.

2258 - Arriving at his Prime counterpart's ship, the Jellyfish. The ship recognises him as its pilot, referring to him as "Ambassador" and Spock determines who Kirk's contact was (his future self.)

2258 - Encounters Nero and his second in command, Ayel, who overpower him. During his face to face confrontation with Ayel he manages to steal Ayel's disruptor, shooting him in the chest, and killing him.

2258 - Distracted by Kirk, Nero boasts that he will kill James Kirk as he had done his Father in 2233. He discovers Spock's destruction of the Drill. Returns to the bridge, leaving Ayel to fight Kirk alone.

2258 - Rescues Captain Pike.

2258 - Attacking the Narada from the inside, Spock escaped into Earth's orbit, and was able to destroy the drill platform as it dug into San Francisco Bay, before warping to another part of the system, with the Narada in pursuit. Spock placed the Jellyfish on a collision course with the Romulan vessel, with the Enterprise arriving in time to knock down enemy torpedoes and beam Spock, Kirk and Pike aboard as the Jellyfish was destroyed, causing the formation of a black hole within the Narada.

2258 - Pike is rescued by Kirk. He manages to use a Romulan disruptor taken by Kirk from from Ayel to ensure their escape.

2258 -Beamed up to ship with Pike.

2258 - Pike is returned to the USS Enterprise.

2258 -Ignoring Spock's protest, he offers Nero and the Romulan crew members the opportunity to surrender and beam aboard the USS Enterprise, avoiding their impending death. When Nero declines, Kirk orders the firing of all weapons, destroying the Nerada as it is absorbed by the singularity.

2258 - Spock reacted with surprise at Kirk's stating that such an offer was logical - the Vulcan noting that this was not the time for logic. Ultimately, the black hole, with assistance from the Enterprise's weapons, consumed the Narada and Nero.

2258 - The resulting black hole ripped through the Narada, cutting it in half. Aboard the bridge, Nero answered the hails of Captain Kirk aboard the Enterprise, who offered his assistance. Enraged that the people he loathed him "assistance", Nero furiously refused the offer, saying he would rather watch his "homeworld be destroyed a thousand times and die in agony than accept the assistance of the Federation." The Narada is destroyed as Kirk fires on the ship and Nero dies with his crew, resigned

2258 - After Spock's ship, the Jellyfish, was destroyed, the Enterprise began to be sucked into the black hole created by the simultaneous detonation of its entire store of red matter. However, Scotty was able to eject and detonate the ship's warp core, creating a large enough shock wave that the Enterprise could ride to safety.

2258 - When the Narada was being sucked into a black hole, Sulu fired all phasers and photon torpedoes at the ship when Nero refused Kirk's offer for help.

2258 - Back on Earth, Spock finally met with his prime reality counterpart, who explained that he had wanted to make sure that Spock and Kirk became friends - something which would ultimately define them both and was a crucial aspect of their lives. Spock had planned to resign from Starfleet and help rebuild Vulcan society, but his prime reality counterpart urged him to remain with Starfleet. About to join the surviving Vulcans himself, the prime Spock chose not to offer his alternate self the traditional 2258 - After the

Enterprise had defeated the Narada and Nero, the elder Spock returned to Earth. There, he met his younger self, who wasn't particulary surprised.Kirk had evidently kept his word to him, but Young Spock figured it out anyway. He also explained that the reason he had not returned to the Enterprise with Kirk to explain things was because he had not wished to deprive Kirk and Spock of the chance of working together and developing the friendship they were destined to have. He then LEGACY

2258 -On return to Earth, Kirk is officially appointed as captain of the USS Enterprise having demonstrated his leadership prowess. The last scene of the film shows Kirk dressed in his captain's ensemble, accepting Spock's request for the position as his First Officer. Taking his place in the infamous captain's chair, he leads the Enterprise crew onto a new adventure.

2258 - With Kirk now assigned as captain of the Enterprise, Spock offered his services as first officer, and Kirk accepted. Spock also was given the position of chief science officer When asked about why he continued on with Starfleet, Spock said that he believed "a peaceful and orderly galactic community" was the best hope for the continued survival of Vulcans.

2258 - He witnessed the promotion of Jim Kirk to captain of the USS Enterprise, repeating what he knew the crew would say before launch, apparently commiserating on his own experiences as a member of the crew of the Enterprise. "Space: the final frontier. These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise. Its continuing mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no one has gone before."

2258 - Nero and the Narada's very presence in 2233 created the alternate reality, caused timeline divergences. After Vulcan's destruction, at Nero's hand, Spock led the survivors to settle on the New Vulcan colony. Kirk was promoted to Captain of the Enterprise and Pike to admiral for their efforts against Nero.

2258 - Following the conclusion of the mission, Pike is assigned the role of Admiral and is relieved from duty as captain of the USS Enterprise. During the ceremony Pike appears in a wheelchair due to his injuries.

2258 - Bones continues to serve alongside Kirk on the USS Enterprise. When he assumes command of the ship, Kirk slaps McCoy on the shoulder and says "buckle up," referring to their first encounter on the recruitment shuttle.

2258 - Uhura, although she maintains her distance, she came to respect James T. Kirk as captain of the Enterprise. This time, when she calls him Captain, she says it sincerely.

2258 - With Olson, the ship's original chief engineer, having been killed in action, and his benefactor Kirk in command, Scott eventually assumed the position of chief engineer aboard the Enterprise, bringing Keenser along with him.

2258 - Sulu was present when Kirk was promoted to captain, and remained the ship's helmsman under his command.

2258 - After the defeat of Nero, Chekov served again as navigator under newly promoted Captain James T. Kirk and left with the crew to explore space.

2258 - Cadet Gaila had a sexual encounter with Cadet James T. Kirk. She told Kirk that she thought that she loved him, to which Kirk replied, "That is so weird." Their moment was interrupted when Uhura returned early from her work in the long range sensor lab. Gaila, having promised Uhura she would stop bringing men back to the dorm, attempted to hide Kirk under her bed, but Uhura discovered him and kicked him out.

2258 - Ayel assisted Nero in the capture of Spock and his ship.

2258 - Shortly thereafter, Gaila was among the cadets gathered at Kirk's hearing for his supposed cheating on the Kobayashi Maru scenario. The process was interrupted by a distress call from Vulcan, which necessitated a fleet of Federation starships to be put together at the last minute. Many cadets, including Gaila, were called into service for what was believed to be a mission of analysis and assistance. Gaila seemed excited.

2258 - Nero had Ayel prepare the red matter from Spock's ship which was used to create an artificial black hole in the center of Vulcan, devouring the planet and killing the majority of the Vulcan species.

2258 -Engineer Olson was chief engineer of the USS Enterprise. Sporting the infamous reshirt, I think you know where this is going. 2258 - During the attack on Vulcan by the Romulan mining vessel the Narada, in an attempt to preserve Vulcan culture, Amanda, Sarek and the Vulcan Council went into the Katric Ark, making evacuation by transporter impossible. Spock beamed down to the surface and evacuated them so that they could be beamed aboard the USS Enterprise.

2258 - As the transporter was initiated, the rocky ledge beneath Amanda began to collape, preventing the transporter from a viable transport lock. Amanda fell to her death.

2258 - James T. Kirk later used Amanda's unfortunate death in order to elicit an emotional response from Spock, raising the question if he ever loved her, therefore forcing Spock to recognise that he had been emotionally comprimised by her death and the loss of his planet and thus unsuited for command of the active mission.

2258 - "You asked me once why I married your mother. I married her because I loved her." Spock and Sarek speak about Spock's inability to control his rage at Nero's responsibility for Amanda's death. This prompts Sarek to admit that he truly loved his wife, allowing Spock to come to terms with himself and help him gain greater control.

2258 - When James T. Kirk and Spock invaded the Narada as it attacked Earth, Ayel took down Kirk with a surprise attack, allowing Nero to assault and nearly kill Kirk. Upon hearing the news that Spock's ship had been taken and the Narada's drilling rig had been destroyed, Nero left Kirk to Ayel.

2258 - While grabbing Kirk by the neck, Ayel remarked that he was surprised at how weak Humans were. Unfortunately for him, he was too busy gloating to notice that Kirk had been able to grab hold of his disruptor; when he offered Kirk his last words, Kirk chose "I got your gun!" and promptly shot him. Ayel's body fell from the platform he was standing on and dropped into the depths of the Narada.
